Whoa. I can't read the words on the side, but that is one nice looking card.
[not so suttle hint to transcribe the words on the side please]

The words read:
'In how many millenia will I return to my first point?'
The other bit of text is more of the mysterious numbers that are being discussed elsewhere.

Any thoughts on which ecliptic, what the objects are, is that the Horsehead Nebula, does it matter? Does the cube above the blue object mean that is Earth, where the cube is? Does that make the red thing the sun? So is the question how many millenia it will take for the entire galaxy to rotate so that earth or the sun gets back to the same point? But if the galaxy is moving or rotating in the universe, and/or the universe is still expanding, will we ever return to the same point?

Am 'I' the cube (which appears to be at the north pole) or the Earth?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
According to here the precession is 25,700 years, but 25 and 26 don't work.

Judging by the orbit of the planet, I would say that the planet is not Earth anyway. Maybe PXP?

Besides Precession I would think besides precession you would have to look at rotation of the earth, 23.??? hours, along with the orbit of the earth 365.26 days. Although I have to look up the exact data

This card must be to do with the ecliptic orbit of the Earth - the cube indicates it is Earth as we know it is hidden here somewhere.
The cycle is known as :
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
A Great Year, or Platonic Year
I have tried the following and have been told they are incorrect :
24, 25, 26, 27
Other than that I'm a bit stumped. Although it would appear that an answer of *edited out - see spoiler* would be too easy for a black card.
Dom
EDIT - more spoilers added as some info should have gone inside them really.

Von's Hint:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The ecliptic is the apparent path the Sun traces out along the sky in the course of a year, independent of the Earth's rotation

I guess Von uses wikipedia aswell, or some perplex city variant:

As always, Von's hint is mostly useless, but thankfully, he's confirmed that it is actually earth and the sun, rather than a PXP or anything like that...
OMG YAY! I just solved it!

BIG hint: No decimal places

Can we get a hint as to how you solved it?
And the answer is just in numbers of millenia? or should it be specified as years?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
ie: did you put the answer as 26 for 26 millenia (note 26 doesnt work as the answer as noted above) or did you put 25800 for the number of years it takes for the Earth to return to the same point in the Great year.

Are you sure the answer's 25800, it says return to first point, this is probably a different value that for one complete cycle. On wikipedia it says that we have already been going for 5000 years, so shouldn't the answer be 20800 years.
