Norse mythology is one of my passions, though I'm not totally adept with it.
But, the link would say theyggdrasilreport.atspace.com.

The Yggdrasil is the World Tree in Norse mythology. The Yggdrasil is a great ash tree that holds together all the worlds (Midgard, Asgard, Nifleheim, mainly).

Going there gets you this:

Code:
c3BlYWsgdGhlIG5hbWUgb2YgdGhlIGhhbW1lciBjbGFkIGluIGxpZ2h0ICsgLmh0b
and an image. Check it out.

The image also has an excerpt from the Volsung Saga - particularly from the Wooing of Brynhild, which can be found here: http://www.sacred-texts.com/neu/vlsng/vlsng29.htm

That's Base64 (tricky PM's removed the "=" sign at the end)

Code:
speak the name of the hammer clad in light + .ht

I'm assuming the ".ht" means ".html"

Not sure what to do with that, though.

Tunguska

The photos shown on the movie are actual photos of the 1908 Tunguska event, a mysterious explosion said to have been more powerful than an atomic bomb.

Theories abound as to what actually happened, including the crashing of an alien spaceship, a meteor and an experiment by the scientist Tesla.

More info can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunguska_event

Tesla also happens to be one of the tags for the movie.

Norse mythology and the number 13 found on:
http://www.infoplease.com/spot/friday13th.html

Quote:
Roots in Norse Mythology
Thirteen was also a sinister number in Norse mythology. Loki, one of the most evil of the Norse gods, went uninvited to a party for 12 at Valhalla, a banquet hall of the gods. As a result, he caused the death of Balder, the god of light, joy, and reconciliation. Loki tricked Balder's blind brother, Hod, into throwing a sprig of mistletoe at Balder's chest. Since mistletoe was the only thing on Earth fatal to Balder, the beloved god fell dead.

so far have tried unsuccessfully:
loki.htm
balder.htm
hod.htm
thirteen.htm
death.htm
mistletoe.htm
valhalla.htm

Geez! "Loki, one of the most evil of the Norse gods"... Judge much?
Loki is hardly evil. Stubborn? Mischevious? Caniving? Deceitful? Chaotic? Yeah. But evil? ..... No.

Sorry, just had to say something against that.

Also, that story is pretty watered down. That sprig of mistletoe was actually a dart made out of mistletoe.

Baldur was having visions of his death, and so Frigg, Baldur's mother, went to all the plants and animals of the world and asked them not to harm Baldur. But she did not ask mistletoe, because she felt it was much too harmless to matter.

Now that Baldur was 'invincible', he would stand up at assemblies and everyone would throw deadly objects at him, and they would not affect him. Loki was annoyed about all of this, so he disguised himself as an old woman and went to ask Frigg about why. Frigg told Loki (in disguise) that she got an oath from everything except for mistletoe.

So Loki, at one of these gatherings, asked Baldur's brother, Hod, why he wasn't throwing objects. His brother said: "Because I'm blind."

Loki helped him to aim it at Baldur, and *bam*, it struck and killed him.

Then the Gods punished Loki by putting him in a cave, binding him with his own entrails, and having a poisonous snake drip venom onto his face until Ragnarok.

Who's at fault here? Frigg. Why? Because she skipped over mistletoe believing it was "too young" to cause harm.

This is what I get for not checking back in this section as often as I probably should. XD Either way, count me in. Mythology in general has always interested me, though I haven't researched it as well as I could have. I'll be attempting to use different names from stories relating to Loki, along with the 13, as page names and report back if I get anything.

Has anyone tried translating "thirteen" into the various Scandinavian languages and trying that?

[Added]

I've tried all the ones I could think of/find online dictionaries for:

Swedish = tretton
Dannish = tretten
Finnish = kolmastoista
Norwegian = tretten
Icelandic = žrettįn (prettan)
Faroese = trettan

No go with any of these....

Excuse the double post...

Just checked http://theyggdrasilreport.atspace.com/problems.htm again and there's an image under the number 13.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The image's filename references a 13th century Icelandic writer, historian, and mythographer named Snorri Sturluson. According to Wikepedia one of his major works was the Prose Edda, a manuscript that detailed many stories of Norse Mythology. In fact that image is from the cover of the manuscript... Seen here is an 18th century copy. So there's something definitely to this.

Also, the 13 is over Odin's picture.

I'm not seeing an image for some reason. I still just see the number 13.

EDIT: The refresh button does wonders. *Smacks self with fish*

The image wasn't there this morning guys, I checked the source. Does the pic look like a beer lable to anyone else?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The text in the title of the page "Mank valkyrjur Višris nefna." means 'Let me recite the names of Odin's Valkyries' and is from Snorri's edda. So the answer might be one of the names of the valkyries. Problem is each one has about three different spellings.

And as an actual follower of the norse mythology, and specifically a woshipper of Loki Laufeyson, let me just take a moment to second the love for my patron god.
