Still no solves on this card! Lines of thought I've followed so far...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Using the numbers I mentioned earlier - 63104 is the zip code for St Louis, but as the answer is one word I would try missouri (and will do when unlocked!). Howeer I thought maybe Missouri would turn out to be the sunshine state or something similar and it is the Show-me state so I'm going off this idea quickly...
Using 631031 I tried looking up 6 figure grid references in the UK, but without more specific info about which map, there is more than one place. I didn't realise this at first and the first one I found was in Essex - which was incorrect!
I looked up 63.1 N 03.1 E on globe and found it somewhere in the sea - in the artic circle so I might also try artic later on...
I don't think these numbers are anything to do with the answer, because I don't see why all the colours would be yellows/oranges/reds if it was relevant...

I just read this thread after thinking about the colors... they seem to be narrowing on gold, so I looked up Golden City. Three major things that popped up were Golden City, MO, Golden, Colorado, and Prague(The gold city). No dice.

could be way left of centre but because the background is black does that necessarily mean it's space?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
could the numbers of colours be the rings of a tree. if so the numbers of them including centre is 23. each ring normally represents 2 years. so 23 * 2 = 46. whatever that means.
so i looked up international dialling codes. afghanistan is 46.
unfortunately it's wrong.

Go on then.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Ignore the colours - they're relevant to the answer but probably won't help you find it. It's the number of rings that's important.

I was thinking of saturns rings.

Am I right in thinking it's a four letter word as there are four different sizes of ring.

Are the width of the rings important?

I suspect the width is just to differentiate between one type of ring and another, beyond doing so with the (apparently meaningless) colour scheme, but I may be entirely wrong, as I have no idea about this one.

22 rings? layers? should we count the center thing (23)?

Hi,
I thought of the 23 rings which made me think of
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
chromosomes, of which there are 46, 23 pairs, and 23 in each egg...
so I tried both
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
egg and womb
but to no avail so obvously completely wrong, but I thought I'd just post it to avoid anyone else wasting a try on them, just in case, although I'm sure no-one else would be that stupid
Got one more try - any ideas?

Ugh. Been pounding my head on the desk for a good couple of days now, kinda lost. Should we count the center as a "ring"?

Another clue from someone who has solved this card correctly (echidna):
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
All I can say is it's not a real physical place you're looking for, it's more of a concept as envisaged by one particular person. The colour and width of the rings will make sense once you've solved it but they probably won't help you to solve it. Instead concentrate on the number of rings.
I stil have absolutely no clue at all - anyone else?

Are we supposed to be translating these rings into letters somehow?
