I'm guessing that we need to play with the tones or whatnot, but unfortunatly, my photoshop program (corel) got uninstalled, and I don't have the serial number so I can't reinstall. I'll call them about it tommorrow. So maybe one of you can change the tones (try to polarize, invert and balance tones)
It's also possible it might need a specific program, like a destegger. I've never acctually done it, but I know it can be done
There are some image programs [url="http://www.purplehell.com/riddletools/"]here[/url] (scroll down)

Okay, I played about with the image a bit and came up with this .
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I think that it appears to be a person lying face down on the ground. Between his hands is the word "mesegi".
Add mesegi onto the end of the url from the first SynCor page and it comes up with more Arabic, an email address, and the date Oct. 28, 2001 .
Update:
Okay, I tried translating the Arabic and here is what I got:

The Unfiction Sidebar Accessory is your friend
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
'Tis simple binary -

The new page is a redirect...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It says:
Syncor is now the
Nuclear Pharmacy Services business of Cardinal Health
You are being redirected to our new website, www.cardinal.com/nps.
However, www.cardinal.com is a real website (no wonder I was thinking it looked pretty nice). I have absolutely no idea why it's being redirected to there. But I'm not really sure I like the implications.

That IP is apparently just pointing to the www.syncor.com server. As for why? I haven't got a clue.
Not only is Cardinal health absolutely a real company, it's a $75 BILLION company. I have to say, I'm confused as to why we were sent there... something to do with nuclear medicine?
EDIT:
I just looked back at the email with the binary and saw it mentions safety:
Quote:
they say safety, but the other is all they care for
so maybe we should be looking for some clue on the safety related pages?

the only thing I can see is maybe it has to do with word compliance.
[quote]they say safety, but the other is all they care for.
There is a place on the page that says Safety and Compliance.
I also recieved another email this morning and it is worded a little different.
they care not for out safety, only for the other

oh duh..
http://www.xdigi.net/SynCor/compliance
that has
Code:
<!--13 to the left-->
<span class="style1">rfpncr.ugzy </span>
in the source, which takes us to:
http://www.xdigi.net/SynCor/escape.html
EDIT:
ok from that page I got to
http://www.xdigi.net/SynCor/frameset2.html
which contained the binary
Code:
01111001 01111010 01100111 01110101 00100000 01100111 01100010 01110001 00100000 00110001 00110000 00110001 00100000 00110001 00110001 00110111 00100000 00110001 00110001 00110011 00100000 00110001 00110001 00110111 00100000 00110001 00110000 00111000 00100000
translates to:
Code:
yzgu gbq 101 117 113 117 108
the compliance page also leads to:
http://www.xdigi.net/SynCor/frameset1.html

so the 101 117 113 117 108 in the garbled text translates to: euqul
so that gives us:
that doesn't ROT to anything, and atbash is also gibberish...
