Maybe this would be better in Meta, I'm not sure, mods can decide Smile

DON'T PANIC

A little matter I'd like to bring to the attention of the whole community.. I won't go into details, but the 13thlabour project is looking to try to find resources for the mid to slightly-longer-term future.

The details of where we stand at the moment are:

The summary is that we need (in a month or so)

1/ A 1Mb+ synchronous internet line.
2/ A PC of P IV 2.4Ghz, 1GB RAM or better specification.
3/ For a year

We'll be completing the planned search space as expected, but as contingency, we have some re-organising to do in case that turns out to be fruitless...

 		A large percentage of it's capacity will be taken up by that, and also, some unfictioners will have to have access to it.

It will also have to run Windows 2003 server and MSSQL 2005 express (though we have an offer of a license for the first, and the second is free, so no real problems there)
