Why would they do a DNA test? Crime Labs match DNA to crime samples. Is he a suspect in a crime (according to the police) where they have DNA evidence? Then they would ask for a sample (and the Trager lawyer would advise the family yay or nay).

There are a couple of reasons a DNA test would prove useful.

First, there was a small bit of skin underneath the fingernails of the skeleton in the woods. Testing that DNA up against Kyle's would prove Kyle guilty or innocent. It is possible that the skin belongs to the victim himself, but that's unlikely due to the quicklime.

And yes, by checking for oddities in the code, we could theoretically determine more about Kyle... if he's a clone, is he's not human, why he doesn't have a bellybutton, etc.

Theory: Kylee is really Amanda Bloom. This will be VERY ironic, because in a few episodes, Kyle and Amanda will probably be having some very kinky things going on... and Amanda will turn out to be Kyle's genetically cloned sister! Ew! Genetic incest.

Theory #2: Kylee disappears for the enitre season until the last episode, where ABC mentions her at the end of the episode to build suspense for the next season. Thereby, ABC maintains the high levels of viewership they already hold as they go into the next season, thus maintaining the high levels of profit.

Yeh, I though about Kylee being Amanda, but I just don't think that would happen. If somebody got a picture of Kylee (one of you has got to have a way to do it) then we could figure out a little more about who Kylee is. Has anybody ever heard of Rebecca Thatcher or Julia Peterson (possible Kylees).

What about spoilers for the actual show? I have found out what is in the casting sides (a small part of the script) for the last episode of the season. Would this information be helpful, and would it be allowed on this board? (I'm very new here.)

I would personally prefer not to know (at least not privately, if it is eventually posted here I'll read it). This is, however, my second post and you should probably wait for someone a little more senior to post before posting anything here you're not sure of.
