I came across this thread a la Google...

The posters are everywhere around town. I've also seen some election-style signs along the Queensway with the same message. Apparently by-law people are trying to find out who's putting them up. I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone. I don't know when they go up.

So I fideled around with google and search for all sites mentioning www.dont-hold-back.com, and I came up with this girl's myspace (very OOG) with some comments mentioning the site (I think they found the posters, they're from Perth, Canada)

I have no clue how a site that (says it) has 800 000+ hits is only mentioned 3 times on the entire internet (here, IU, myspace)

These signs are evrey where ther in all diffrent towns wher i live willams burg cornwall morrisburg.. i want to no what it is... i seen some kids putting them up but other then tha i donno

Chris Rossi is someone who created a social experiment called Eon8.com, he made a very secret and not really telling you anything site, with an omnious countdown to a time, when it finally counted down, all it said was Happy Birthday mtcaptain(or summit like that).

The funny thing was about Eon8.com, was that everybody linked it to terrorists, or apocalypses, or summit.

You can only do something like that once every 10 years, in my opinion, and it looks like somebody has now tried to do it 9 months and 9 years early.

Much as I wouldn't subject anyone else to such a thing, I wonder who's brave enough to stick around and see if it's a screamer?

Furthermore, I wonder why there're definitions for A Concept and An Idea.

Hey all!

Nube to this forum... but notta' nube to ARGs... played AI and loved it... but after it was over, I found that the hubby, child, job and housework were seriously cutting into my play time. Razz

I've seen that sign on the Queensway offramp to Kinburn, the onramp @ Arnprior, all over Ottawa. Seriously.... all over Ottawa. There has to be more then a couple of people putting them up... the sheer number of the posters demand it... that also means the more people that are in on it, the more likely something'll get leaked. Why has that not happened yet? ARGH!

Do you think they are waiting for the counter to hit a mill or something?

As for it being a screamer.... I've had it loaded for about 15 minutes... and nothing yet, lol... thank G-d for that too... I HATE those things. Plus... there doesn't seem to be anything in the source that would indicate that any scripts are running... it looks like it was designed with a wysiwyg...

Just my 0.02!
