As European it is very difficult to recognise Asian people, but, I think Satoshi Kitamura has similarities with our Satoshi.

It's not

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satoshi_Kojima

well I don't think so anyway. Rolling Eyes

I have found an interesting website called "3qu2" (quirky investigations into life in Asia) and I am going to email them and explain our story - they might post his picture on their site or hopefully link to the webpage if this is ok.

Edit (later that same day) *Have emailed now, waiting for reply*

What about other websites like Fortean Times that are interested in weird stories?

I was thinking of Fortean Times earlier. And Bizarre as well. Maybe if a few of us contact them, they might get interested. Otherwise, they may think it's just another crank (and they get plenty of them as it is!). And even if the magazines themselves aren't interested, there's the forums.

Just remembered, when I woke up I was thinking "Billion to one". Could he be called Bill or William Satoshi?

This idea is copyright KornyKloos.kom Shocked

Wow. That's mighty random of you, Cabbage. It's very wide spec. I believe we are just looking at a hunt, a good old fashioned hunt... for a man.

hey all I have had a reply from Fiona re the pic etc.

Okay she has sent me a really good copy that will enlarge to A4 - so ideal ofr poasters etc - and she like the ideas.

However, there are proviso's.

Quote:
Please make it clear on any posters or websites *why* you are looking for this guy. Please also state clearly that he isn't going to hand over the Cube, or £100,000, and that he's not a criminal. We kind of have a responsibility to make sure he's not kidnapped by a bunch of loonies and locked away somewhere because they think he's going to lead them to the prize!

i have the image and can forward it to the site and if you email or pm me (email me guinSPLAT13thlabour.tk) I will be checking mail and Uf while in the US

So, like posted before, it couldn´t be that guy?

Satoshi Tomioka from Delaware / Uni Tübingen

Nice thinking, but TBH the main reason I think that it isn't this guy is because if you look at the picture on his website, it doesn't look like the man on the card! Smile

There's also a DJ called Satoshi Tomie how played at Fabric a few months ago and was outstanding. It's not him unless he's put on about three stone though.

Hope this helps.

Go for it... The more places the better. We've got permission from MC now.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Plus they've wished us luck finding him, soft of confirming that's what they want us to do.

Also, I've replaced the picture with the higher quality version from MC and added the following paragraph to the English version.

Quote:
Please note: he is not in possession of the artifact himself. If you know or find him, please treat him politely and with respect.

I've just spoken to someone at 'The Japan Times' who said something I didn't understand.

I've dropped them an email and I'll try again in the morning where I might speak to someone who isn't a security guard and I'm going to email other newspapers....maybe someone will think it.s worth a story.
