[ILB] Halo Graphic Novel Beekeepers!
The following is in reference to the Halo Graphical Novel and a connection to ILB.

It woudl seem that Bungie is incorporating at least some of the ILB story into Halo "canon." The recently-released Halo Graphic Novel bears references to Herzog's assassination.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There is a lot of information on page 122 of the Halo Graphic Novel which camshaft references above. There is a chatter log of two persons conversing about "ones". Since it does reference Herzog, thus the ILBs connection, I can only assume that they are talking about Spartan 1.0 or 1.1s. Could this possiblely be a trailhead? There is a lot of cryptic talk and plenty of information to try to interpret. If looking at it you will probably need a magnifying glass to read some of the text because it is so small.
It is also interesting to note that this information is not within any of the story lines of the graphic novel, but rather in the Artist Gallery. It seem rather random in it's placement.

Frankie said in a recent interview that Bungie has embraced ILB as canon. Don't read too much into it, it's just a piece put together by Rob Lees to suggest the possibility of Sgt. Johnson being a SPARTAN-I.

Meh, only really hardcore Halo fans will read this. I never really saw a point to the Halo novels. I'm wondering how the storyline is. Is it a total rip, or is it somewhat original? And even beyond that, is it a good book. But I suppose that is irrelevant, as this is a graphical novel. Kids picture book + blood. :p
