As I am new to this forum lark I don't know how to do the spoiler thingy so if someone gives me a clue as to how to do this I will post the numerals to the ships as requested. Cheers

To Spoiler Type
Then
again at the end but on the second one you have to put a slash in ie [/spoil etc

I know threadingham is about to do this, but given my propensity for typos, I thought it wouldn't hurt to have two versions to check. Also I could only find 1 pair of human siblings on opposing sides, and I've tried their numbers in both orders.

I'd got as far as typing all the ship names into Notepad...

I've checked and I agree with ramsfan's list.

hm

I've tried numerous combinations of mythological siblings. None of the combinations of titans or olympians which the ships are named after have worked for me. I noticed about 15 people have solved this now and I was wondering if anyone would mind dropping a couple hints? Thanks.

Seems I was the 15th solver...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The answer is on the first 2 pages, but I think the more accurate map is what makes the difference

For some reason I am being dense with this card...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I have tried Pluton (25) and Neptune (59)

Phoebe (42) and Themis (27)

Ajax (67) and Achille (22)

Ajax (67) and Achille (39) even though they are on the same side since their positioning is about parallel

I tried a couple in a different order to no avail.

Can anyone with a solve confirm if the order you enter them in is relevent?

Can't tell you whether the order is important as I didn't have to try it 2 ways to get the right answer. I suspect it doesn't matter though.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The answer, in my opinion, takes a serious liberty with the word sibling. There is a very blatant clue on the thread already. Sounds too easy/obvious but don't be afraid to try it.

I'm not sure what I'm looking for now either.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

I was given the hint twins. I tried the numbers for the 2 Neptunes and its not them.
Oh..and Themis's "twin" was Nemesis. Phoebe I don't think had a twin. Ajax was Achilles cousin, and they served under Agemmamom. Polythemus was the Cyclops. Leviathan is biblical, not Greek too.

Neptune's not the only name appearing on 2 ships....though what this has to do with siblings (brother or sister I thought?) I do not know.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

I think someone at MC needs to word their cards better/read up on various mythos.
I can see why so many people are stuck now. Ignore the word sibling, it has *no relevance* at all.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Sibling *can* apply in this situation - it just doesn't apply in the most straightforward way. Then again, this is a silver. Silvers are almost never straightforward.
