[SPEC] Ubi Soft = Underscore?

Just wondering if anyone has drawn the connection between UbiSoft, the maker of the new Matrix Online game, and UnderScore Hosting. I searched FIRST and found nothing on this.

Just a thought.

They both start with the letter "u"! By George, it was staring us in the face this whole time!

Okay - I'll say that I can see some similarity... as much or more than Metacortechs=Microsoft.

Let's see.. ubisoft and underscore, they both have three syllables consisting of two words (kind of), first syllable starts with "U" and third syllable (second word) starts with "S". I guess the next question would be where they are located - any similarity in city names? Or do we know where Underscore is?

I also agree with the responders that it probably doesn't mean anything... but for the record I also see where you could draw some similarities, and since we're stuck I see nothing wrong with thinking outside the box.

Well I started a week later than most, and I've already thunk my way out of so many little boxes (haha! clever play on words there eh?) that it's getting painful.

It's tragic... My life revolves around hanging on paintover updates... Wink

I think drawing a correlation here is a leeeetle bit tenuous: assuming there is a connection between _ and UBIsoft, what does that give us? Enter the Matrix was written by Shiny and published by Atari... so nothing there... hey, prove me wrong, but I can't see the value.

okay

Ubi Soft is creating the Matrix Online game. And, I agree, boredom could make us think outside of the box and possibly, lead to finding something new.

Just a thought.

Sorry all, wasn't aware that Ubi is doing Matrix Online.

I still maintain though that if we can successfully link _ and Ubi, where does it get us?

Similarities

Other than the names of the companies, we can draw a few connections:

A. The green orb which features prominently on the site
B. The apparent tie in with the films
C. Similar iconography
D. Both involve necessarily online experiences

I don't know. I'm grasping at straws here. PLEASE LET THERE BE ANOTHER UPDATE!

Ahh, but one of those offices is in Sacramento, CA, which is exactly 630 miles from Redmond, WA, and when you add the sum of the decimal values of each letter from "UbiSoft" (700), you get 1330. And THEN, if you add 7 (the number of letters in Ubisoft), you get the number 1337, which means "leet" or "elite." "elite" in binary is 0110010101101100011010010111010001100101, and when you add all the 1's together, you get 20. Add 44 (my favorite number) to that, and you get 64!!!!!

So there, I guess that's the connection between UbiSoft and Underscore Hosting.... Wink
