Wave 3 silvers are rare birds indeed!

I just bought a retailer's box of mixed waves 1-3. In 36 packs, I found four silvers. Only *one* was Wave 3. The ratio would likely be similar in a box of pure wave 3--you'd probably only get four or five silvers.

From the perspective of the eBay seller, the silvers are the money makers. With only 4-5 in a box, however, and at the going rate of silver cards on eBay (despite the increased rarity of the Wave 3's), you can't even make back the cost of the box since the other cards sell for little to nothing! Selling individual cards is not particularly profitable for the eBay sellers this wave, so the number of cards available for purchase is dwindling.

Yeah... the distribution is very strange this wave... I ordered a 36 pack from firebox and got 9 silvers (two of which were duplicates...). I thought I was in heaven... Then again I only got *2* blacks.. and a heck of a lot of duplicates of all other wave 4 cards.

I also opened a box of wave 4 cards and got 0 silvers. Nice to know I'm not alone.

I'm hoping that MC will be selling individual cards in the not too distant future at a reasonable price.

I haven't purchased a full box, but I have probably opened a box worth of individual packs and I have not pulled one silver card......bogus.

I had a lot of silvers but I think that my generosity can smoetimes get the better of me.

Someone wanted Reiman off me and I only had one.

Even though he seemed to think that i was doing a 'bad deal' for myself, but I knew that he wanted the card, especially because it was an unsolved one I swapped it for swarms and a few lower value cards that i didnt have.

Do you think I did right or think im a stupid ****-wit?

I've bought most of my silvers on ebay, but you can get better prices, despite the postage, on US deals sometimes, as they seem to have
a smaller percentage population playing. Good luck and I hope we don't end up bidding against one another,
