P.G. e-mails Wongmo

Alright, if any of you out there did this, please fess up. Otherwise, this is very interesting. Wongmo's Mailbag for the 25th contains the following:

P.G. wrote:
I've written and rewritten this letter a dozen times, each time stripping a little part
of it, a part of myself, away. I know that you always say you crave simplicity and
straightforwardness in all things. I wanted NOT to drown you in wordiness, but
instead to tell you as directly as I could, how I feel.

(You'll probably never even see this, so what should it matter?)

I've learned so much about myself in the time I've spent with you. Seeing your passion
for the world around you, your curiosity, I've myself begun spotting connections in the
little electric impulses of life, those unseen things than hold us together. I see, and FEEL,
sense, where before there was only chaos. And I have only you to thank.

I've devoted my life to debunking the improbable and explaining the unexplainable. I've
spent hours draining the mystery out of the cup of life before I hand it back, dry and
dessicated, to people who only wanted to believe in powers greater than themselves. Never
before did I appreciate how wonderful it felt to be held in the thrall of something wild,
something that couldn't be scientifically proven or analyzed to within an inch of its life.

Now that I feel that thrall, now that I'm able to put the cynicism of my younger days aside
for the purity of love, I want nothing more than to spend the rest of my days basking in that
glow. Please, dear song of my soul....share this moment with me.

Forever yours.

It really sounds like Phil's writing style to me... if true, this would totally ruin all our previous theories about Phil and Wongmo and Kane. Well, that's already partially ruined by the fact that Phil's e-mail to Beth was, in fact, directed at Beth. So...time to throw all our previous ideas away and starting thinking about this fresh. Very Happy Darn...

Actually, the letter wasn't directed at Beth Wink Phil sent it to her by mistake:

Oh...wow, yeah, I see... I thought he meant that he'd sent it based on mistaken impressions. His tone isn't like someone who's just laughing off a stupid mistake. And, wouldn't he have explained that he'd meant to send it to someone else? And, if he had meant to send it to Leo Kane, then what's up with his letter (if it's real) to Wongmo? *bangs head against wall several times* Curse you, PMs! Confused Shocked Question

Yeah, but the whole "You know that I consider you a friend before and above anything else. I have the utmost respect for you and that will never change." sounds like he's ashamed of the mistake he made.
Maybe he spent too much time investigating Wongmo and lost his marbles afther all Very Happy

And in a few seconds I might be joinning you in the banging head against wall thing. Today was a really busy day on the game and left lots of Question Question Question

Hey, just wanted to post this here. I think this picture is as useless as Wongmo for figuring anything out - but my friend wanted me to post this.

Everyone is running around saying Wongmo is just this lame new-age life coach guy. While entertaining, the general concensus seems to be that he is unaware of these things going on in his own web-site.

I couldn't disagree more.

I'm not saying Wongmo is a hacker, i don't think he is. But i do think he knows more. I don't know if he knows much about Metacortechs or what they're doing (whatever that may be, the specifics are still suspect at this point).

I'm looking at the smiley face picture, and i'm seeing the things you guys are seeing, but from a different angle. The identities of these figures, this place is unimportant. But they're locked in the bubble of a smiley face world. It's a metaphor for The Matrix, in my opinion. Wongmo is telling us that the world in which we live is a prison, and we have no idea.

A prison yes, but a happy smily prison!

I'm not so sure I'm a fan of taking Wongmo any more seriously than we already do... I mean, there's the whole possible sinister sub-plot with Phil that might be emerging... personally, I belive Wongmo is more convincing as an evil, low con man cultist dude than a matrix revolutionary.
