Oh, I remember! And you helped me find the Wiki card list so I could work out which ones I was missing didn't you?
Glad that your luck is getting better - I did feel very sorry for you, getting so many packs with so few blacks and silvers - especially as I got quite a few, although I couldn't actually solve them then...

P.S. Powerpoint is all good, but I still like the good ol' days of pointing long sticks at things too...

Yup I thought that might be you but wasn't sure who asked for the list.
At least I'm making progress now, I just wish I could afford more cards, I love unwrapping packs, LOL. At least I just needs only blacks and silvers now, LOL

Well its taken me all week to get round to posting and to recover from only getting an hour and a half's sleep on monday night (tuesday morning?!)
What a night, I had a fabulous time so thanks to everyone who was out, who was lovely and who helped me have such a great time. A big "OI" to those who wouldn't let me go home when we left 6 degrees and are therefore responsible for my comatosed condition on tuesday.
I'm glad everyone liked their free cards, I worked out approx how many I gave away and it was somewhere between 250 and 300 cards so lots of happier people as a result
Unexpectedly I was also given a silver by Guy from MC and a black by Adrian Hon (who I then got to sign it) because I had given away so many cards, so that was a turn up for the books!
Anyone else fancy any more nights out, swop meets, puzzle solving type get togethers then count me in!
And a curse on everyone who had posted a pic I'm in on Flickr, of which there are far too many!!

Did people who got card 257 get the signed version or the unsigned version?

Well, mine is unsigned (though I didn't get it in a pack). I think the only signed ones are those that were given away in the Video Competition.

The one I saw wasn't signed.

I was in attendance, but unfortunately, I had an attack of the shy-and-retirings, and didn't feel sufficiently emboldened (or drunk) to blunder into conversation with people who all seemed to know each other.
Same story with me. Was fairly late so when I arrived there was a quiz going on which had everyone's attention naturally, and not knowing a soul in this this game personally, I made a desultory purchase and left rather quickly. Next time will be braver.

Name badges... The way forward. Then youd know who people are without the embarrasing need to ask... (Of course, they also help later in the night whern you are so drunk you are not sure yourself who you are!! )
