Some random (and probably much too obvious) thoughts:

OK, been speculating big time this afternoon, coupla things to point out, hope they're not repeats. Also hope this thread is relevant enough for this info.

- MLO's MetaDex says he is going to meet Dimitri about James on the 5th.
- MLO's Metadex updated with more shots of 'heismissing' person after this meeting would have occured.
- Beth writes in this email that she bumped into an old friend of James and hers, 'Dim', the day before, which would have been the 5th. Same day as MLO's meeting. Most likely in the Metacortechs office.
- Dim was "stern looking", "rigid, professional".
- Dim is an old friend from Switzerland.
- Zurich is in Switzerland, destination of 'heismissing' person, according to MLO's 9th October MetaDex files.

So, some speculation, MLO is doing some detective work on James Avery, as to why or how he went missing. This may be for good or bad (or ass-covering) purposes. He has tracked down the heismissing sites, done some work chasing them (the annotations on the Metadex copies), and has found out Avery's last destination was Switzerland. MLO has then tracked down Dimitri (or perhaps Dimitri works for MLO), who has then provided the pictures of Avery in some form of 'interesting' situation (looking up for 3 shots, and then hitting the dirt while people run around, for example). Dimitri was once friends with Beth and James, so perhaps has used this association to gain James' trust and therefore assist in whatever disappearance has occurred, and perhaps did not react warmly to Beth due to his position in the whole conspiracy. (Guilt, threat of discovery, maybe).

As I say, way too much speculation, but it might spark thoughts now or down the track. But I do think it probable that Beth's Dim and MLO's Dimitri are one and the same, and that Dimitri was the person to have delivered the shots of James Avery hitting the dirt. Dimitri is definitely a name to look out for.

At last we can have an end to the "Laika knobbling" theories.

I'd previouisly suggested Kat's entries about "getting rid of the dog" were to allow her to mooch around Beths place for information. Beth's trip and leaving the dog with Kat achieved the same ends.

The fact that the place has been tidied also supports this idea and it seems that Kat has now given Beths' pad the once over.

Wonder if she found anything?

I think I'll hold off on the "reprogrammed dog" / spy pooch theory just yet
