prison tattoo

in my book of russion prison tattoos (don't ask) it says the tattoo signifies 'I am angry with my fate, my life is a failure'

quite how that relates to the solve, i'm not quite sure!

Understood. As a younger man I was no stranger to the inner workings of soviet correctional institutions and reminiscences about those times are best left unspoken.

I don't want to complicate things too much but that expression has come up on one or two other pages I have used to try to solve these cards.

I showed this to a Russian acquaintance who grew up there in Soviet times. He confirmed what it says, but also pointed out that this is the opposite of a slogan used by the Communist regime back then, which loosely meant "Man is a BROTHER to man" (don't know what it is in Russian), basically reinforcing the whole communist/socialist ethos (at least that's what they wanted the masses to believe).

The fact that this person has the opposite tattooed is a statement to how capitalism works there now (i.e. very "dog eat dog"), and is probably meant as a very anti-Communist message.

It could also be interpreted as a very anti-Capitalist message.

I really wish I could. As I have been solving the cards, I keep discovering different sites that help with the answers. Some go into my favourite links, others don't but I have been looking all over because I remember that expression appearing on two of them.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. Crying or Very sad

 Idea
maybe a solve for #066

I have found a site that tells of a quote about the wolf. It goes as follows:

"Man is to man a wolf, man is to man a demon."

I had used up my guesses. Embarassed If you find it works let me know.
