Puzzle Sheets from Aug 12 live event

This thread is for posting transcriptions and links to scans of puzzle sheets from the San Francisco Connection, the 12 Aug 2006 live event. Some of the puzzles might be entertaining even without the time limit of the event, and a record of them is useful for all of us. I encourage anyone with puzzle sheets from the event to contribute similar info.

If anyone figures out 617, I'd love to hear the answer. As far as we could tell, it was impossible to solve, and no one else had managed it by the time we left (around 3:30).

I wasn't there, so I can't do the legwork on this. I tried to get some info on the PTC, but I couldn't find what it was referring to.

Yeah, the most I've been able to find out is that the building that used to be there was four stories tall. You'd think that, in a world where you can find web sites for men who like getting kicked in the crotch and My Little Pony porn, there would be someone out there who would have a collection of photos of San Francisco's historical markers. The Internet has disappointed me!

The building

We had a different puzzle about the same building as 617. The solution to our puzzle should help you locate the answer to yours.

Puzzle 27504 (on sheet 24) decrypted as follows:

One of my teammates did some Googling and...

...he came up with the building's name and address, an image of the plaque, and a transcription of the plaque. I do not have the building's name and address, but I did write down the correct answer. The old phone company building (a historic landmark, not the current Pac Bell office) is next to the site where there was once a historic theater. The theater, in use until (I think) 1855, was eventually destroyed in the 1906 earthquake and fire. The cipher is rot19, and the 19th name in the list is Julia Buckley.
