I've attached a screenshot of the background with two men's faces highlighted. If you know how to get these illusions to work, you know that you have to sort of cross your eyes in a way and match up some part of the image that repeats. Cock your head to the side a little and try to match up these two mens faces in the original. Some letters pop out at you pretty clearly. I've left the "pole" in the picture so you have a reference to find these faces. I can see what looks like the letters "I C O" but the 'O' has two chunks out of it. If you look for other patterns in the picture, you'll see more. To the left of this, i can see some more letters which kind of look like "I C" but the "C" could be the left half of an O as well.
I'm sure those aren't the only faces, those are just the ones taht sick out to me. Also, I apolgize for not compressing the image and leaving it as a bitmap, but I'm at work and I dont ahve any better software installed than MSpaint
Edit: Sorry for the long posts, but just to add a wee bit more, i believe these are called stereo optical illusions, or stereograms.

Okay, feeling pretty good about myself right now - thanks to schummbo spotting how this thing works, to save myself any more eyestrain I came up with this pic after a little Photoshop jiggery pokery.
I think there might be more, hidden in different layers, so to speak, so I'll keep exploring
[edit] ARGH! Spotting repetition is like a game of Where's Wally (or Waldo for you American types)

Hmm...it looks to me like ICDL and I can't make out what that one at the bottom is. That L could also be a one, I suppose. I'll keep trying to spot anything else, but ever since I got glasses I've sucked at these things. Curse my tendency to sit too close to the TV.

Well, the good news is, there is more, the bad news is, I still can't make sand nor moss of any of it.
This is as clear as I can make it - there are bits not shown here, because they don't seem to serve any useful purpose (yet?). There are four depths here; if you were to make the letters "pop out" of the page, they intersect perfectly with where they'd be if you made them "sink into" the page But you could never see that at once just by looking, surely, unless you have 4 eyes. I think. I'm really quite tired. Oh, and each blue bit is at a seperate depth too.
The actual typed stuff is probably a quirk of how Photoshop works it's magic.
I think there might be a lot more to this, but I'm too tired to follow up right now.

Very very cool guys Thats exactly what I was seeing, its just really hard to describe it. Never though to cross the images with photoshop. Good idea! Pretty in depth stereogram. I'm going to keep an eye on this, so far I'm very interested.

We have determined that this site is part of another ARG.
www.ilovebees2.com
We received clues that there was a new site we should be out looking for and through various clues we recieved we searched and found IFPV. Now once we sent an Email to ProjectaSPLAT ifpv.com IFPV itself changed and had the oneless.jpg on its front page. We also got confirmation from one of our NPCs letting us know we found it.
Please come and share any Questions/Solutions that you might have or want help with.

Bummer. But just to satisfy our curiosity... can you point us to the clues that led you to IFPV?
EDIT / OFF-TOPIC: I am not yet convinced that this is about ILB2. But I went over there and noticed that participation is very poor... perhaps if someone can explain what ILB2 is about, and spark Unforums interest (which was lost many moons ago), this can move along. Trey is still responding to this might be a good "merge point".

For the sake of completeness, this is a response from Trey to a forum member in ILB2... as far as I can tell, the response came in AFTER the onless page went up, perhaps implying that this "mini game" will still go on.

Excuse me but who are all you people that keep emailing me with these inane messages? I have no idea what you mean by runaway project whatsoever. I am getting sick of all these idiotic comments I keep getting from all these random people like yourself and am slowly losing my temper! What do you mean by "Do you love bees too.."? I hope you aren't another of those damn hippies. I have told your kind many times before that what we are doing here is not conflicting with any of your "Ideals" no matter how stupid they may be.
And if all of this isn't enough, our server crashed and our Server Administrator is out of town.
It also is delaying many of the experiments we need to work on if this project is to ever get off the ground since a bunch of our data is stored on that server reguarding the project!
Now please, if you have any serious questions to ask me, come right out and ask, I have no time for foolish games that children play.
If I did, I would be at home playing them with my daughter right now.
Keeps her mind off the divorce since she loves games so much.
If only this didn't keep me away from them so much....
If you will excuse me now, I have lots of samples to test out and am very behind.
Trey

Why did Unfiction not go with it? Even if it's not "official", per se, that doesn't mean a fan-work need be a bad thing. It looks fairly well-made and has a fair few websites and things, as far as I can gather; I would have thought UF would be all over it. Unless there's some other reason of which I'm unaware.

lol I see.
Didn't read all that but I think I get the gist.
Rude and unsociable? Hardly the impression I get. Although I've seen people get totally verbally raped when they break rules like the no IG posting, which is fun

Hurrah!
I wasn't too keen on joining in with ILB2, mostly because it's so far along, so for me it seems that it's game (back) on!
