Gupfee, it seems to me that this PM (or his "friend") has only one account on here - at least one with which (s)he's posted, and the manner with which they launched their game, was, to start with at least, very unoriginal and ham-fisted, but was it actually breaking the TOS? (and yes I'm afraid this is me in full I-can't-be-bothered-to-check mode Razz)

You don't see the dupes because I already deleted them.

You can see Attempt #1, by scapegoat_2006 (get it? SCAPEgoat/eSCAPE-artist? har de har har har) here.

Attempt #2 was originally charmingly entitled The Moderators Of This Forum Need To Be Slapped.*

So you can see why the UF administration hasn't greeted Attempt #3 with dancing and champagne-cork-popping. Rolling Eyes

*As a side note, I've always been curious about what, precisely, it is that makes disgruntled people think it's a good idea to antagonize the admins/mods of a forum on that forum. Admins/mods can ban you. They can lock your threads. They can edit your posts to make it appear that you are discussing your pride in your My Little Pony TM collection. What is gained from attacking them? It's an exercise in futility.

P.S. My My Little Pony TM collection is by far the best on this forum, so okay that might be a little futile as well, but you get my drift

Edit: Quite blatantly, I might add. -SpaceBass

Haha, okay, okay, I'm convinced! I didn't see it with it's silly thread title, just the modified one. I think that, along with the hamfisted launch, indicates a certian immaturity, which isn't really conductive to creating an amazingly well concieved ARG.

Sorry, PMs, I tried to have faith, I really did. And sorry to our omniscient Mods, too - I should never have doubted you Smile

But, dammit, a masochistic part of me still wants to see the contents of Josh's box o' mystery!

Point Taken

Thanks. I appreciate that.

For the record, checking out the one blog, it doesn't appear anymore is going on. So maybe Josh opened the box and....pardon the pun...it blew up in his face?

At any rate, I'm no PM for any game online. What I do is local. I responded to one of them with Alice theme because I couldn't resist...it was too easy. Anyway, thanks for the clarification. And I apologize too for getting pissy back.

So....where's a good intro one of these to jump into?

Isn't there a rule about that?

About finishing games or running multiple games at once?

No. Smile

Well, there's a rule of common sense, but...

I suppose that it's just an unwritten law that it's just not very nice to start 100 things and never finish them...
