There are places on this earth that have strong magic-like powers and pure natural energy. These places are considered strange and unnatural to most simply because they are not yet understood. They hold secrets that few of us have seen and even fewer of us could understand. The NJ Pine Barrens is one of these places.

On July 21, a group of nearly 40 people ventured out into the Barrens to try to catch a glimpse of the elusive Jersey Devil. The Devil did not want to show his face that night, but someone else did...

Our Jersey Devil hunting group, led by Jack McCloy, left the Unnatural Emporium and marched into the darkness of the Barrens. Within fifteen minutes we were well off the established trails and heading toward a known Devil sighting spot, near an old abandoned government bunker of some sort. We reached a small barren clearing and waited.

I could sense something was about to happen, as I could feel the air changing around me. The temperature dropped and all of the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. His soul was near. No, not the Jersey Devil, but instead the ghost of Wes Keeler.

Suddenly, several people in the back of the group started screaming and flashlight beams lit up the sky. Someone said that they saw a large furry animal so most everyone rushed to the back of the group to see it. That's when he appeared. My dear friend Phyllis came face to face with the ghost of Wes Keeler. He came as quickly as he went, but he was definitely there. I could feel him.

 		Don't mean to bump this thread, but for you puzzle lovers, I believe there might be a puzzle with this one. It does have its own directory.

Take a look around before you answer and see what you think.

 		Images in the GITP background jpgs
Two more links back to GITP suggests looking closer at it.
By looking at http://www.edgeofsight.com/GITP/gitp_center.jpg in wmp and adjusting the contrast and brightness, one can see, in the upper right hand corner, branches of a bare tree.
In chat, Spuds manipulated the images and found 5 small circles among these jpgs...

Spuds commented that there seems to be symbols within the small circles that have been altered.
