Cheers for the quiz barry, was v good even though I didnt manage all the answers. Also seeing as ive only been at this for 3 weeks gives me a shot at some of the harder to get cards

I had urbs for 'Latin city' in my 1st attempt but thought it was wrong and took it out! Had Pasiphae for the "hatched a plot against her husband" as she gave birth to ('hatched') the minotaur which was Poseidon's revenge on Minos. Not sure how i didnt come across Clytemnestra in my research, but there you go. And even though i considered the Minotaur a possibility for the answer for "to elude him, pacify his mother?", simply because he was a famous greek monster, and even though id also been looking at Pasiphae for the other answer, I COMPLETELY missed the Pasiphae-pacify connection, DOH!! Seems so obvious now.
Did anyone else think Britain was the answer for the naval lists? Thought it might be cuz of this page but alas no.

Cheers for the quiz badbarry, and the many hours of frustration! Smile

Now i must wait and pray for a silver being left by the time it gets all the way down to me Smile

P.S. How many million card packs did you buy to have sooo many spare blacks/silvers!!

I had britain as well for 15.

I was pretty poor at answering these questions. Found likely answers for some of questions but kept picking the wrong open. Cheers for the puzzle was fun.

Wow, ermmmm, I never expected a) As many entries and b) So many people to get so many answers. I did SO badly at that and must have spent about 10 hours googling things and coming up blank.
