[SILLY?] What have you learned from Perplex City? As we reach the end of the journey that has been season one, what bits of knowledge have we all acquired from Perplex City?
1) Riemann is also the name of a brand of sun cream.
2) Bees waggle with their butts. Hee, butts.
3) Silvers are hard ._.

Trying to keep your bank account out of the red and playing PXC at the same time is nearly impossible.
It's easy to lose sleep over [insert silver card name here]. (This could technically go into the "silvers are hard" category. Oh well.)

No matter how hard you try to find that one common card, it will take months and you will ulitimately have to trade with someone in another city in order to obtain it.
The guys at the comic shop have little or no clue what I am talking about.
3P has a fleet of helicopters at their disposal, My guess is Richard Branson is in the 3P... We just don't know it yet...
Money is not an issue when it comes to finding a priceless artifact.

Things I've learned from Perplex City:
1- There are very clever people in the world, who appear happy to spend at least some of their spare time creating little bits of software to try and solve practically anything.
2- I'm rubbish at codes and ciphers and stuff!

Hear, hear!
EDIT: Just realised that's very misinterpretable. That was a 'me too' not an 'I agree that you suck'.

1) "Pomosexual" is a word.
2) How to play a well-known Guns n Roses tune. (Ha, note the cunning spoiler-in-disguise!) Well, the first 4 bars anyway. Badly.
3) Don't get the RSM wet after midnight, or something...

And the corrolary: As soon as you obtain said common card via a trade, you will receive 10 copies of it in your next 10 packs.

Also:
- The Cube is not under my desk. This assumes that the Cube is a normal 3-dimensional object, and is not invisible.
- The Cube is also not in my back garden, as any of my shovels will tell you.
- Mr. Riemann is a torturous bastard.
- There's a guy called Guy with floppy hair.
- You can pay £12 for 42 cards, or you can pay £12 for 1 card, because the distribution is so retarded.
- Mind Candy are torturous bastards. This also ties in with the previous fact.
- eBay eats money quicker than an Altarian Money-Guzzling Tribbloid.
- If I ever find Satoshi, I will kidnap him and lock him up in my attic for being so hard to find. I will then charge £10 to look at him.
- Emoticons don't work on this forum after about a day. -.-

This is a word that can NEVER be mis-used. Ever.
In fact, we should all use it more. I prefer a more 'hearty' approach than 'Oh poo, I'm falling off of the rigging again' and tend to give it a good "YARRRRR!!!".

Unless it's a Wave 4 pack, in which case you will find thirty in your next ten packs.
And Duckie - September 19th approaches. Not that any of us need the excuse, but all the same.
(And it's a work /and/ uni day for me. I'm going to wear a costume and drive people nuts.)

Just remembered other things learned from PXC:
1: NHS payscales need to be revised to take into account the costs of buying silver cards on eBay.
2: If NHS pay isn't going to be revised, I need to find a new job that pays more to fund buying silver cards on eBay.
3: Probably the oddest thing learned so far - Kinder eggs are banned in the US, but freely available in Canada

I learned that during this game, too, actually.
Wikipedia says that
Quote:
the Food and Drug Administration has banned the toys, due to safety concerns and regulations against non-food products within a food shell.
How odd...
