I could be wrong, but don't think it's morse, there doesn't seem to be enough "dashes" compared to the dots. Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong though.
I was thinking along the lines that the spaces led to a numeric code, but got nowhere that way either.

I think you are right, Alisdairpark. I am not having any luck with morse. too many dots and not enough dashes. Tried different combinations (ie tabs as dashes, etc) but still nothing that makes sense
Edit:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I also tried looking at it like one of those sterograms but nada

C4 took me a while to figure out. I tried graphing the frequency of the spaces versus tabs in different ways hoping it would make a picture or spell something out.
Slight hint:

The first google query I tried, when I got around to that, revealed the path to the answer; implimenting that answer was yet another challenge, though.

I think C5 requires steganography, but darned if I can find anything.
For C3:

You just need to shorten the URL, removing the file, then the dir, then another dir, working your way back like a "hacker" looking for an unsecured path.

Also, to reiterate, on C4 the form submits to an HTML file -- in other words, typing in the username and password won't actually do anything. You're looking for the next URL, not a usernm/passwd combo.

Wow, I didn't even make the connection with the "getting warmer" hint. LOL
There is a java applet version of the program out there somewhere.

If by "password" you mean "a URL".
