It's not a "rule", just a practice. So could you remove your solve? Thanks for helping!

(And I assume this practice will break down eventually, but as we're still less than a month in the wave, why not hold out as long as possible?)

OMG i have been working on this one for 3 days now, and I finally got it.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I had all the "things" figured out, but was stuck on what to do with them, until it it me that the last four things had first letters that spelled something and *BAM*. . . .finally solved this one.

SO anyway, saying Hi on my first post. This card will go in the books as a good one.

Great!

This has to be my favorite card.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I used to work in theatre and had the thought that this could be a light plot. Do we think that the shapes with the jagged corners are fresnels?

Frankly I have to thank mama for putting the confirmed solve up there. I got as far as that having gone through all the steps but still had no idea that's where the puzzle ended. Seriously, I get that its the answer but how am I supposed to realize it when I get there? I was trying to think of how the word relates to the card, particularly the spacing of the nodes, how some are broken and others not, etc. The broken ones didnt even seem to be important, unless that and the rough spacing and the shape of them is supposed to somehow indicate collectively the starting step for investigation, which is to say...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
That those are some sort of symbols for stage lighting that regular people would probably be generally incapable of identifying. I'm curious, is this the case?
And if not, then what is the meaning of the spacing that doesnt match up to the solution, and why the broken nodes?
I dunno... maybe I'm just venting in frustration here for spending a couple weeks now trying to find what the codes meant.

I don't think has been posted, but here is a site that has the exact symbols:

So, for what it's worth:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
They are indeed parcan and fresnel lights.
