Why are people putting chat logs in spoilers?????

The chat logs are just information. Spoilers should be used for solved puzzles (or tv show plots).

Has anyone else noticed the fact that now on two different occasions in conversation with this Ms. Gaine (or is it Gaines?), we've been given a string of letters that don't really seem to have any obvious solution?

The two occasions I speak of are the following:
