I doubt there's anything past the third page, for now, if only because it starts "Begin at the beginning," matching the webpage's title.
Not that that's solid evidence.
rock solid
the leaf motif does appear at the bottom, though - indication a full stop of some kind...

Ever the pedantic, I thought I'd toss on a picture of the words on the second page as completely colored in as I can possibly get it. It seems to be a reddish woodgrain, in keeping with our botanical theme.

I'm getting the same, in my case it's because the flash plugin for Linux is still on version 7, it worked fine on my Win machine at work
Bad Adobe! (although they are working on a Linux version 9). And Bad MC too, for not making such a simple page usable for those of us not on Win/Mac

Perhaps the leaves do need to be manipulated on the 3rd page. If you hold the mouse button down it lifts them up and then they float when released. Could the leaf at the bottom of the page be a key?

The background is reminiscent of a 'rubbing' (where one holds a piece of paper over a gravestone, for example, and rubs a pencil over an area to lift of an image of the engraving underneath.

Some observations:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Quote:In fact, it was more that it stole me. I touched it and we were gone. I didn't know that could happen.
Could this indicate sentience on the part of the cube? Also, the images I've seen all show the cube under glass. Who has the authority/ clearance to physically touch it (assuming this wasn't a break-in)?
Quote:I didn't know anything. But I'm starting from the wrong place again . You'll have to excuse me. It's been a long time and I haven't known who I could tell, or if I could tell anyone.
This has happened before?

I must say that my first thoughts upon reading this were "The cube knew someone was coming for it that couldn't be trusted, so it 'stole' someone that it could trust and took them both to earth in order to hide itself." I admit, however, that this thought is influenced heavily by having read the message on the green leitmark earlier today: "And Gyvann said doubt not that the cube speaks or that its voice is heard". Which you must admit implies some sentience.

My impression, though I could be wrong, is that this was a reference to having given us the Waking page first, which is sort of in the middle of the story, and then having added this on.
(I've removed spoilers in quoting because they didn't seem necessary. If others disagree, I can add them back in.)

The most important thing I get out of these pages (other than the leaf symbol which i'm not sure about) is that whoever is writing this is telling us not to look. stop looking for them.
"Don't look for me. I know you're already trying. Because those other people? They're looking for me too. And if you find me, I don't know who will travel with you.
Fellow-travellers can be dangerous. I should know."
<SPEC>
this means:
1. We could have a possible mole working with others on unfiction and other discussion boards who is playing the game and working with the 3rd power?
2. Trustworthy players will be able to receive messages, but we have to stop looking.
3. Someone could have travelled with this person to earth. Someone Dangerous.
4. Combed Thunderclap has left messages saying that they buried the cube, they need help.. etc. etc. but are we SURE THIS is CT. Could CT be the person who travelled with this person to earth?

Does seem to match the one at the top of the first screen too.
Does anyone else get the impression we were supposed to find this one ourselves? The image linking to index1.html (the old 'waking' flash file) is called 'Back.jpg'...
Is this a trial of URLs we're supposed to work through?

Maybe it's silly of me to take it this way, but I really get the feeling that the dangerous travelling companion being mentioned is the cube. Though I suppose you could take "I touched it and we were gone" to mean there was someone with him, but I just keep coming back to the sentience of the cube idea. We've certainly had it hinted enough that the cube is potentially powerful on the scale of a weapon, after all.

OK. A sentient cube? I can buy that, it's an ARG. A sentient cube sitting idly in the ground for over 2 years? I know I would have gotten pretty bored by now. Following this reasoning, what if it's the cube itself dropping hints; it's sick of waiting in the dirt, it wants to be found?

i see what you mean Caol. and I agree with you. I guess no other person would have been transported along with CT, or they would have said so.
so CT is still here on earth right? are we supposed to find a way for them to get home?

Ok this is just very wild spec, but...
If these message are from CT:
Billion To One is the last card of the 256, which may or may not give it more significance than the other cards.
The message on the card reads "Find Me".
I think that it is fair to say that up to now there has been a general assumption that Satoshi is an Earthling.
We do not know if Satoshi wants to be found and is the one who has said "Find me".
If someone else is putting these words into his mouth, as it were, for their own noble or (more likely) nefarious purposes then this could square up with the warning in the leaf message.
So could there be a link between Combed Thunderclap and Satoshi? Is Satoshi from Perplex City? If we find Satoshi are we nearer to finding the cube? Of course, #256 might just be a laugh-a-minute fun-filled worldwide manhunt, but then again it might just give us the cube route [bad pun intended].
Cabbage
PS Trout me if someone proposed this already but I searched for the two "names" together and did not get any results...
PPS I am a "trustworthy player". Honest.

Titles of Flash Not sure if this is useful or not but...
In the first library of babel flash, the flash file is found at waking.swf
Waking was the first word shown in the flash.
In the new library of babel flash, the flash file is found at realise.swf
Realise is the second word shown and the first important word
Could this lead us to a third flash? Perhaps it lies in the relationship between "waking" and "realise"
Or maybe this doesn't really matter. Who knows. Just letting everyone know.
On a side note, I'm looking for anything in the flash file right now. I'll keep everyone updated on that.

Well, they locked the flash file, so there's only a limited amount to what I can do. However, there is nothing inherently decieving or hidden in the flash it seems.
