Is he a Nick Drake fan? His album Five Leaves Left has the track Fruit Tree

About the third page, the five leaves must mean something, but since this time they are outside of the box, I wonder if you have to put them back in the box like at the beginning. I'm thinking that there might be a certain way to put the leaves in the box so that the uncovered words spell out a message. It could be fiddly though.

nice find ramsfan.
I found this verse very interesting..
"Safe in the womb
Of an everlasting night
You find the darkness can
Give the brightest light.
Safe in your place deep in the earth
That's when they'll know what you were really worth.
Forgotten while you're here
Remembered for a while
A much updated ruin
From a much outdated style."
might not be anything... but it'd be cool if it's something.

Excellent find, ramsfan, that is too good to be a coincidence, with the five leaves left and all. But where to go from here?

I know Combed Thunderclap lead you to the library of Babel but did you know it's an anagram of "comprehend bad cult"? The clue might have more than one meaning (the library and the anagram).

Waking was the first word shown in the flash.
In the new library of babel flash, the flash file is found at realise.swf
Realise is the second word shown and the first important word
Also, you can get to these using http://www.perplexcityacademy.com/libraryofbabel/waking and http://www.perplexcityacademy.com/libraryofbabel/realise as the URL - no need to put ".swf" at the end. Personally (ex-web dev.. ) I find this a bit odd - to me it feels like it's been deliberately set up this way, so that we can try keywords after the /libraryofbabel/ bit or something.

Interesting, I was just thinking:
The last sentence of the first screen:
So, help?
It just seems to be an interesting wording.

I tried a few last night as it happens, 'espalier ', 'garden ', any babel type things I could think of as well as 'cube ', 'combedthunderclap ', 'theft ' etc etc, but didnt get anything. Well, except an error message, obviously .
There's probably a logical way to come up with a fitting word... I'm just too tired to think of it just now. Or maybe we just have to wait for another installment, I dunno...?

Brief speculative tangent: if this is a case where the Cube "stole itself" to get away from the Third Power, that puts Inari Ekeba on the suspect list.

So why won't he just allow her to do her Cube research then? It seems a perfectly sensible request - she's head of Natural Sciences, one would have thought it was her field of expertise.
Normally I wouldn't have considered her due to the comment from Claire about whoever else it was involved being "a better programmer than me" (implying a lot of activity on the part of the thief) but if the Cube collaberated in its own theft, it could have been a "through the rabbit hole" sort of endeavour for our Combed Thunder.

Or through the worm hole
But I s/he was taken away, then s/he was in fact at the party, and was gone for some time. Maybe it would be worth emailing someone to check if anyone went missing the night of the the theft. I emailed Kurt, but so should everyone else, all the people actually.
