Back from my trip, and I see nothing seems to have happened when the countdown hit the coveted 0. Given all the references to ILB, could this possibly be for the fanmade sequel to ILB, the one that IFPV was initially mistaken for being a part of?

That said, I joined the mailing list just in case.

I think your idea is interesting. I've wondered about possible relationships between exexexe/CommonSpace and ilovebees.

Supposing this is a fanmade sequel, I don't know how to explain these features:

• the congruence between the symbol and a certain corporate logo;
  
• the five or six mock-news videos on YouTube;
  
• the name server for CommonSpace that is registered to a Hong Kong multimedia company.
  

I think it's more plausible that it's a professional marketing campaign which has hit a snag. Maybe they didn't get the number of hits they thought they needed to make the rest of the campaign viable?

EDIT: For what it's worth, I'm not seeing the zeroes at the bottom of the CommonSpace screen anymore.

Pardon the double post, but considering the time elapsed and the nature of the development, I thought this warranted a bump.

www.commonspace.com has changed content. Gone is the ilovebees-style countdown. In its place is a series of photos of live events apparently held in Hong Kong while we were watching the countdown on the website. Though just what the heck they're advertising, I can't tell from the photos. Maybe if I were in Hong Kong it wouldn't be a mystery.

Whatever Commonspace is intended to be, I think the gamelike part has ended.
