liking your logic there!

my other random thought:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the text says "find me". perhaps we need to find the name of the place he is standing (i mean specifically, i know its kaysersberg, but perhaps we need the name of the building, or the street etc) which will give us a link in the "six degrees" chain?
for example: he's standing next to the hospital. where there is a nurse. who is married to someone who..... etc etc

probably way too complicated but you never know...
the answer box does say "what is the answer?" so perhaps its a lot simpler than we're thinking? but this being a silver i wouldnt count on it lol!

ya, that's the problem with silvers, is the answer more obvious than we think, perhaps we are thinking about it too much.

i don't think it will be along the lines of find the person who works in the building beside the river etc etc as that would mean there are too many variables. There is no guarantee that person would still live/work in kayersburg since the photo was taken unless they were put there by MC specifically for that purpose!

it may not be a chain thing but perhaps we do just need to name the building or something along those lines? "what is the answer" is very generic and could be anything. as is "find me".

has anyone emailed MC and asked them if its a name we're looking for ie Satoshi someone, or something else?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
My name is Satoshi

So, that narrows it down a bit Wink

I've been going back through earlier posts for inspiration. Maybe Kayserberg's got a branch of A.A.?

I just trudged through all 25 pages of this thread to make sure I wasn't brining up something that was already being worked on... I saw it suggested once, but no replies, so I'll bring it up again.

What about facial recognition software? The high-res pic should give us a fairly accurate algorhythm to work from, all we would need is a decent source for reference material (hello, Google Images) and the processing power to crunch it all. I'll spend some time this week-end looking into the feasibility of it all and report back...

Hello ? The cheesy celebrity home magazine?

No, sounds like a good idea, if you can access a comprehensive database of images.

random off topic, but ABC has created a show based off the six degrees theory that starts the end of this month..

hopefully with the hype from the show(if any), we can get more people interested in seeing our guys face..

In a mood of uncharacteristic Celtic despair Crying or Very sad - are we not doomed to fail, since there is nothing in it for the third, fourth, fifth degrees of separation? We want to find out where Satoshi is, the second degree (our friends and family) may want to help us, but after that, who is going to care?

Sorry to be so doom-laden.
