[NEW] Emerson CD Found at Multnomah County Lib I just got back and am going to attach the contents of the cd. I haven't had time to look thru all the pics from the Chicago cd, but I think some on this cd are different. EDIT *The files appear to be the same.*
There are 3 Folders, 12.29.2001, Legal, and Personal on the cd plus the note. I have labeled the pictures with the folder they are in, i.e....Folder Personal-Jesse.
To Mods if I should be posting in another thread (sorry) and please move or lock this one or delete if need be due to space.

Dang is right. It took me forever to upload those files.
*To Mods delete files as needed*

Hmmm...they seem to be the same byte-for-byte as the Chicago CD.
(Congrats on getting there first! I was going to head out after work in a few hours, but you've saved me the trip!)

Yeah, they're the same, but congrats nonetheless. If nothing else, at least you have a cool souvinier of the game

I suppose it could be a safety feature - in case no one playing can get to one location, have a few alternatives .
Still worth checking the others though just in case.
I'd be interested in where it was - in someones possession, stuffed in a book etc.

To BriEnigma, Sorry I didn't know how important going might be to moving the game along and I had a little extra time to go today. If you would like me to send you the cd I would be glad to. I know you were talking about going to the lib maybe this weekend. PM me and let me know.

That, or if multiple "groups" (Unfiction being one group) are playing, maybe there's a higher chance that people from different groups would get a chance at a CD. It would kind of suck if they were taken home exclusively by people on this message board. Others might get locked out of being able to play if they did not know about our existence.

I'm a little curious too. Is the CD still in the library, or did it get taken home? Was it simply stuffed between pages in the book? Perhaps hidden between a hardcover and the dust jacket? Hidden on/under/behind a shelf?

I asked at the information desk where I would find that book. I went up to the 3rd floor and found one copy (Science of Illusions) it was on the top shelf. The book basically opened to the first page of the 11th chapter where the cd was.
EDIT* I took the cd with me since you can't run your own cds or discs on library computers and I didn't have my laptop with me.

Thanks for that.
Makes you wonder if there was someone keeping an eye on it, in case an innocent library patron found it.

I was on thematrix.com looking at the production photos. I saw a picture that was taken on set of the "dummy" Agent Smiths for Revolutions. There is a particular picture that has a directory for one of the buildings:
FIRST FLOOR
Melchizedek Attorneys
SECOND FLOOR
MATSU, KAYSAN, and JERICHO
THIRD FLOOR
THERAVADA Aquistions
FOURTH FLOOR
Lucifer
Now with the cd being found on the third floor in Science of Illusions, do these two have anything to do with each other? Don't know...also
Does the floor in the picture of the meat market have anything to do with the tapestry. Look at the water marks...they almost seem to look alot a like.

When I went to Cyberia Chicago, I was definitely planning on leaving whatever I found behind for someone else (specifically because ethan's note says something like, "Mark some: Do not remove. Scavenger hunt."). However, when I saw it was a CD, I was a little confused, so I said, "Am I supposed to take it?" And the guy said, "Yeah take it, it's yours." And I THINK (though I could be wrong) that he somehow knew what he was talking about.
So, this leads me to think that there are different items. Perhaps "some" are not CDs, and you're supposed to leave them behind. The bottom line is, if it is a CD, you pretty much HAVE to take it, there's no leaving it behind. (Even if if it is another Emerson CD, you still need to check to be sure the files are the same.) I could be wrong of course.
Also, enaxor, does your CD have "Emerson" written on it in all caps, in a blue ink pen?

You know, each site could have multiple copies of the cd...

Also, enaxor, my CD is named 030117_0846 (we assume it is the creation date, jan 17 2003 and the time - or at least what the PMs want us to believe is the creation date). What is yours named?

The CD has Emerson written on it, in what looks to be a black marker and the CD is named 030117_0849. It was inside a white CD envelope, the kind with the clear cellaphane circle on the front. It was placed inside the envelope so I could see Emerson thru the cellaphane window.
