Week Clue Sabbatical

From Team Noah Boddy at the Y! board (msg 2095):

Greetings,

Several things tonight.

First--a typo slipped past on our post regarding the chat
transcript. The message stated that the transcript was NOT posted in
the files section. It should have read is 'NOW' posted. We
understand there is at least one more version there, but we have
indeed put a complete version ourselves. The only changes were some
small typos and grammatical clarifications (and only on the comments
from Lady Selene. Other people were left as they typed.) Note that
a few moments of transcript may have been lost due to Selene's
dropping out of the chat room, but otherwise you may consider our
version complete and official.

Second--we have noticed a recent debate on clues (and whether they
should be posted once they have been solved or should have hints
posted or should have links posted). While debates on such topics
are allowed to happen, please work hard to make sure that all posts
in such debates remain polite. Thank you.

Third--and this is a big one. We have seen many comments on the
speed at which this game is moving clue-wise, and have had several
inquiries concerning the game and the holidays. It is certain that
many of the players of this game will be spening time with relatives
this week, and the same is true for some members of Team Noah Boddy.
After careful deliberation, the Team has decided that the following:

There will be NO GAME HINTS or GAME CLUE this week.

Note that this does not mean that clue #5 disappears. It merely
means that this week is a sabbatical for the clues. It allows
several things to happen:

1. People can get caught up on clues they are still working on.
2. People can spend some time looking at the in-game storyline if
they wish.
3. People can take a vacation and have some fun without worrying
about getting behind.
4. Team Noah Boddy can utilize the time for some upgrades and new
coding/re-vamping/site work for the game.

In other words, we at Team Noah Boddy are giving you all a holiday
treat, and letting you get back to your real lives for one week.

Note that there may well be some STORYLINE updates--depends on what
the Lady and the Reverend (and some new characters) decide to do in
their quest for Noah Boddy. After all, when we last saw them, they
were all getting into dire trouble. But as far as clues go, the next
weekly hints (for Clue #5) will begin during the week of December 1st.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Sincerely,
Team Noah Boddy
