Dont know. May have influenced there mind's.
But my graphic designer friends have pages like little boxes and call them cute names like little-boxes etc
But we don't know what came first, the website or the photo. I know when I'm designing websites. I design the website first and then add the photo's later.

Also, when searching for css layouts.. i stumble across littleboxes..

http://www.thenoodleincident.com/tutorials/box_lesson/boxes.html

Its titled litle boxes on top of the browser. But who know's, maybe Beth stumbled across stuff like this when designing her website ?

I'm almost certain too that I've seen very very similar pages to Beths page on the net before. But I'll ask my graphic designer friend if she has seen other sites that resembly it ( and has little boxes written on it somewhere.. not neccesarily the domain name ) when she comes back online.

Warner and Names

Firstly, I read in another forum somewhere that they done soemthing to do with the IP of one of the sites or an image or email, and found that it was located on a Warner Brothers Server.

Secondly, soem of you have said that there has been no reference to Trinity or Morpheus etc. The people in the sites might not know trinity etc. And if they do, they might not know thier alias'. we don't know what there names were in the matrix, so we don't know what people refer to them as.

Just a Thought

Nothing, on any of these sites, is hosted on a Warner Brothers server.

Dude, they are royalty free images. Odds are, the PM's picked them up out of an image repository somewhere. Of course other web developers have used the same image. Free is much better than paying a professional photographer and a model just so you can have a picture. This is a game designed by amateurs, not a design house with a six-figure budget. The sooner you come to grasps with that, the sooner you can just settle down and enjoy the game.

Well said.

I think it would be very cool if this were WB sanctioned, and had something to do with the upcoming MMORPG for the Matrix. It would give those of us who have been so (dare I say it?) involved with this ARG a little giggle to see an important character be named Beth McConnell. A little backstory, something to give us validation for the superiority we all feel (sniff..)

But..

If it's just fans, if it's just people who thought it would be awesome (and had the time, resources, and abilities to pull it off as well as they have) to do this? Good on them. Right on. Thank you for giving us something to do at work. Very Happy

As far as the image of Beth goes.. if the PMs were willing to put as much money into having all of these sites, making all of these phone calls, having numbers, voice mails, email addresses -- I think they could have hired a model and photographer if they really wanted to. Just my opinion, but it seems kinda fair to say that isn't a big clue.
