 		[TRAILHEAD] LG15 / CassieIsWatching possible ARG
Hello everyone. First post here and I must start with a defensive pledge.

I know there are other threads about the whole lonelygirl15 deal, but they're in the timewaster section. Now, however, it seems like there's a possible ARG based on that story (I still don't know if it comes from the same creators).

For those of you who don't know, in one of LG15 videos she mentions out of the blue a girl named Cassie that her friend Daniel should had known, yet Daniel claims to never had heard of her. This is on a video they did at some creek.

Now a video has come up in youtube made by someone named cassieiswatching, with the tag: bree is lying.

The video has enought quality not to be considered some poor fan stuff, and the creek is the same one of LG's video. It is a creepy video, and there's a link to a google map with the location of the creek:

Well if you continue with some of the links provided beside the map....you'll see that fires were started there that were factually linked to religious animal sacrifices.


I'm new to the whole ARG thing, but I think this may be one, at least there are enought things here to make me think it can be posted in the rumors section. I hope I'm not ruining my reputation from the beggining with this.

 		I was waiting for some sort of IG confirmation or acknowledgment that the Cassie stuff is "real" and not fan-made. Have Bree or Daniel mentioned it in game?

 		They haven't. But I'm thinking it may not be the same guys who did LG, but others wanting to make a game based on the story.

Well, even if the video is real, it doesn't mean that it has anything to do with fires or religious animal sacrifices. The tiny url goes to a Google map page with keywords of "sheep mountain fire station california". The links you see there are Google links of "businesses" in the area that share those keywords. In fact, I don't see any information at all about animal sacrifices. "Sheep Mountain [Wilderness Area]" seems to be a legitimate name for part of the area there. And the link for the church just comes about because someone mentions they were a fire chaplin in a blog. Nothing sinister there. I'm not exactly sure why the map is pointing to that spot, but I'm fairly sure it's not so we can go out there and find sheep sacrificed to the fire gods.

 		depends on what you mean by "in game"...
New here also...

Anyway, in "Swimming," Bree and Daniel do talk in a mysterious way about a girl named Cassie in what appears to be the same location where the cassieiswatching video was shot. Rather, Bree asks questions about Cassie and "what happened to her," while Daniel looks like he's pretending that he doesn't know who Cassie is.

So, yeah, I think that it's an in game thing. For what little I know of ARGs right now.

Cassie has also appeared on her Youtube comment thread with the message "help me," and reportedly has sent emails saying "help me" with the same link to the aerial map from a hushmail account.

I kind of think that the whole "animal sacrifice" thing is either an urban legend or something that got dropped into the discussion as a way of heightening the drama.

 		Sorry, I completely missed this thread last night.

So sorry if this too has been covered and I missed it too, but any thoughts on LonesomeOctober?

They show up about a week ago and post three "parodies" of LG15 (using a popular youtuber to gain exposure, much as LG15 herself did in the beginning). The videos point to things that, while amusing, really seem like they're clues more than "errors." Crowley's birthday appearing in the cookie video, for instance.

Then four days ago, they post an interview with the Cthulhu: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lTn2dfNNVw

Another user says they've used backmasking on the Cthulhu's side of the conversation, to discover references to the "cephelopod" tag found in the "Poor Pluto" video and to Cassie -- posted days before the appearance of cassieiswatching. If that's true, then this would seem to either be from the original creators, or at least the people responsible for cassieiswatching. Can anyone confirm?
