I just noticed that they phrased it karma is a what?

This means that it can not be something that begins with the letter aeiou since it would be is a (an)

tvguide.com has the exact same description as my cable service about the upcoming episode, so unless you're asking about an "in depth" article in this week's tv guide about Survivor which might have more clues there's nothing in the general description to give a clue to the answer.

Update: doing some research, seems like "hiki" might be short Manihiki, which is a name of one of the islands.

UPDATE: We have the tv-guide article there is indeed something in it.

the video on the next one is horrid.. (or my computer sucks..) click the can't view link for the riddle..

the gold challenge is killer though.. I'm stumped..

EDIT:

don't look at it for what it is.. look at it for what you think it might be.. took me a few to catch on to what was actually in the picture, but once you grasp that it's actually really simple.. (though I doubt I'm one of the first three.. it was still fun)
