Bummer, she can't go until tomorrow morning . Hopefully by then I will have read through the *@load of updates, and will understand where to even look to make sure someone hasn't already retreived it.

He may have gone to the wrong corner...
the payphone is not on the pier
the payphone is not on the corner of ocean and colorado
it is on the NW corner of Pacific coast Highway and colorado
Did he go there too?

he went to the intersection, and saw no phones, he went to all the phones on the pier, the pier begins AT colorado/pch.. colorado turns into the pier..
So maybe he missed something, and he wasnt looking for a cd, it could of been taped under the phones or something, he was looking for writing, etc..

/me wonders if the pay phone clues might not be the phone numbers for those pay phones? Or maybe even the GPS coordinates?
If no physical clues or evidence are found at those locations, we should document as much information about those places as possible.

I just called another guy in LA, I'll see if he has better luck, he's more creative as far as searching, so if he doesnt turn anything up, he will at least bring one of the payphones back for further inspection (joking).

The CD on the pier was probably taken by some drugged out derelict and thrown into the ocean. Typical Santa Monica stuff.

Did someone already go after the Orlando one?
I used to live out there and still have some friends that might be willing to go on a "hunt" for me..
So, anyone?
(I think I read before that someone was after it already)

I think critter42 was trying to have someone check on the orlando location, but I never heard any more about it.

My contact is an hour from there. Yet she is still in Orlando. Orlando is very big. I have another contact, but she is kinda loopy.... I mean unreliable. So if someone else wants to.

for us or emerson? does it make sense, in the context of the game, to take the cd's from their hiding places? if they're from emerson for himself as ethan, shouldn't we leave them where they are (after copying them of course) so that he can know what he wants himself to know?

I posted another thread, but the CD in Indy has been found. No details about the contents until tonight.

Well, the thing is, we're probably more curious about this whole thing than Ethan himself is.
But, if it's part of the game, I think the PMs are expecting this to happen. Why else give us locations of CDs and just expect us to leave them there? What's the information for, in that case?
They'll probably work this into the game somehow, like Ethan might blog about how he asked about the CDs and was told that different people collected them each time. (it's a conspiracy!)
Or maybe we're just depriving a poor fictional character of critical information. Poor Ethan.
