[FAKE] EBay Cassie

I hate to say it but the card I have has a completely different graphic on the backside.

I think this is someone trying to cash in.

It also lends me some hope that the card I found is authentic, lonelygirl material. You'd think some opportunist would use the same kind of deck in odrder to promote his interest.

I am finding something very interesting. There seem to be a lot of people, who have very few in their post count (usually one or two), seem very obsessed with "Ebay Cassie" and "MySpace Cassie". Every few pages in the big threads, someone will either point out the ebaypage ("OMG look at this (link) someone is selling cards omg!") with handy dandy links, or ask the link for the myspace, or starting talking about the myspace......

I would be very interested to find out what would happen if the mods over there started comparing IP addies.

How was the Ebay link discovered in the first place? It was discovered, it appears, only moments after the sale was started. Hm. So very interesting.

My opinon? We have someone(s) at work here who are very dedicated to gamejacking this. The MySpace, the Ebay, the incredible stroke of luck MySpace Cassie had on predicting that a card would be found...Hmm.

Someone got there first, and switched the bags. MySpace and Ebay are a part of it. Someone trying to make a buck, get attention, whatever. Likely that band with the Garden song are involved, as most they are getting referenced all the bloody time as well.

If you were a pm in a game where this was happening, what the heck would you do?

I for one, don't think I'll be playing anymore unless we get some sort of confirmation that something is in game, let alone part of a game at all.

I tend to think that MSCassie, and EbayCassie are both frauds. Certainly they could have involved themselves up to the point of jacking the clue (the bag) and switching it, but I'm certain you cna all agree they're not a part of the original plan.

I do think it's possible myspace cassie took the bag and switched it however.

Can we NOT post links to the game jackers, please? Or even discuss them? That's what's throwing everyone off in the other forum. (Please don't take this as me being mean to newbies, just trying to keep what's happening at the other forums from happening here. It's very frustrating over there)

Also, has anyone seen the crazy spec they are throwing around about our Cu Roi? And again with the possible sockpuppets trying to connect him to MSCassie when it also seems that MSCassie is trying to implicate him. Hmmm...

Ehhh, I don't think he's agame jacking. It's really annoying however, when you keep saying blah blah is real, and you know they aren't.

When we use real/fake, here, we mean 'part of the game' or 'not part of game'. It's all fake, but under the whole "This is not a game!" concept, we tend to refer to things as IF they were real.

I don't I'm explaining this correctly, heh.

Maybe we should say IG (in game) or OOG (out of game)
