they've just about come out and said the game won't ever connect to the show. The show is still residing about 2 years ago, and the game is considered "real time". So technically, when you watch the show, the game hasn't happened yet.

Now, they've changed their minds on other things, so I wouldn't be shocked if they decided to put a little nod in somewhere down the road. I'm guessing not soon though.

I don't know, they made a mess of defining whether the show was in or out. I wouldn't be completely surprised if Rachel herself showed up.

Blake on Lost?

They've done quite well with not putting any over-actors on the show. But in my opinion, the Rachel Blake actress does over-act a lil bit. If you put her next to Terry AKA John Lock, who appears to be a very talented actor, then it would look bad.

I think, if the characters on the show are ever to work out the mysteries for themselves, then the numbers etc will have to be explained on the show. The producers can't assume that all of their viewers also ~~suffered~~ played through the game.

Blake overacts largely because of the medium she's in - camera right up close on her face, nothing to play off of, talking directly to the camera. In a situation like that, I can't imagine it would be easy to do anything between over- or under-act. For instance, Lonelygirl15, that whole hoax thing - she pulled it off, but she was underacting quite a bit, just like normal people do on cam. I'd like to see them give her a shot on the show, just so she can redeem herself in our eyes Smile

Anyway, as far as I recall, the producers of the show/game have outright said that this is information that they figured they wouldn't be able to explain within the confines of the show's story arc, so your friend wouldn't be spoiled. It would be pretty silly of the producers to reveal all the secrets from the coming season before the season begins, would they? I have a feeling that this coming season will branch drastically away from the DHARMA initiative, anyway, so this is stuff that your friend may WANT to know.

heck, I know that I'm quoting it all at the beginning of the year to my friends at our LOST party.
