 		Ok, the Dr. is in better spirits now that he's found a place for "good coffee"... He emailed me, and attached these 2 pictures - I just received them and am now off to research Smile (Both file names were exactly what I received from him)

 		No idea as to the skyline, but in the picture of the coffee house, we can see a bit of the good doctor's computer screen. That is definitely a pentagram on the upper right corner of his screen/lower right corner of the picture. It seems to be rightside-up, which would indicate protection/banishing. Or wannabe-goths thinking the pentagram means "devil!rock!evil!lookatmei'mhardcore!" or something. Since the doctor doesn't strike me as that type, I'd go with the former.

 		I'm not finding the skyline anywhere either, but it also looks like his desktop, to the left of the pentagram - is a candle flame???


ETA: I just noticed, using my primative photo editing software that I have, the skyline picture blurs when you try to zoom in on it - but the cafe picture retains perfect focus... I'm playing find-and-seek and can see what looks like a reversed "gelato" - but I might be seeing things...

 		It's 9.30pm here in London and I'm just out to meet some friends down the pub, so I'll have to leave you and the others to sift through these two images for now. The coffee shop one looks interesting... There's a sign outside that mentions a town square... Has he actually left Indianapolis yet? Can't remember where we are in his timeline right now...

 		Hiya everyone. Ive just played catch up reading through everyones posts.

 		Hmmm...well the pentagram is pretty weird...he doesn't seem to be the kind of person that deals with that sort of thing. Though this is pointing towards the doctor not being a good doctor thing again. I watched the movie a few times over, nothing really seemed to stand out, as for the music not being french it didn't sound very english or very anything really.Meh I can't think of anything.

PS:Where were all the people Razz

An upwards pointing pentagram represents trying to ward of bad spirits (i.e. AV???) It's the inverted pentagram that's bad...

ETA: More conversation with the Dr. and a bit of speculation on my part...

...Now for the speculation - Somewhere, Louisiana? They have a rich French culture, lots of different religion and "power"... But the "ugly churches" I don't get, because what I've seen in Louisiana are quite pretty... He mentioned a "grave in the city", not cemetery though - so maybe somewhere on the east coast? I'm just feeling that we're missing something obvious - why does he want to show us where he is, when he has been so scared??? It's almost as though he wants us to find where he is.

I guess I should respond - dunno if I'll include pictures or not Wink

Where did we get that were trying to work out where he is hiding/living? (waiting for a big smelly fish)

I still think there is something with the music. I reconise it Confused has it been in the charts recently? Am also sure it isnt french... He keeps mentioning it .

Edit:: listened to it again and it says in the chours part... one by one were gonna take them out The boyfriend agrees with this Laughing

Though i totally agree with you. I have no clue what were supposed to be looking for.

He seems to keep talking about power in certain places, not sure what he means by that, and what symbols is he talking about?Man this is confusering Sad

 		Well, I'd guess if we can find what city it is, and if there's some pictures of the 'grave' and the churchs, then we can see the symbols, and get to know what the good doctor means with 'power'.

 		Hi im a noob here. I been lurking awhile. I read through all the posts. Maybe I found something maybe not. AV is a month in the hebrew calendar lots of importantant stuff happened then Both the first and second temples were destroyed during this month. I am new to ARGs so please don't blast me if It means nothing...Also another vid was posted on you tube at about midnight EST.... Just him going into a gated building. Why doesn't he get some Dogs???.I'll bet a couple of pittbulls would keep people out of his house.. Sorry that last part was a joke. OH there is lots of stuff on Wikipedia about the month AV.

 		Hey, no speculation is too out there for us! Welcome and thanks for the great info, Wabonan! At this point, any additional info could be exactly what we need to take us down the right path.

Is anyone else having problems loading the videos? i've been trying all morning and they haven't loaded yet.

Sounds a bit like New Orleans to me, but I've never been there and subsequent to the floods, it might be a bit odd for Jochen not to mention the mess the place was left in... But then he is a little odd anyway!

The pentacle has led me off on another of my speculation excursions! The computer in the image: I'm not sure what OS its running - is it a mac? The date was contemporaneous with when the image was sent, so we are sure everything is happening in real time anyway. My point about the OS is: I'm not sure sure whether that pentacle is an image on a website he's browsing or whether its part of a desktop background.

If its an image on a website, it could be the first indication of a trail outside of the email and video communication. To establish anything about what is going on I really think we need some evidence that comes from outside Jochen's perspective.

If it is a desktop background, then we can assume Jochen has some affiliation with the image. Possibly it's a reference to Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man. I suggest this because Jochen's sig on all his communication is a quote from Da Vinci.

It also suggests new interpretations for the 'circle with a point at its centre'. The centre of the pentacle, of Vitruvian Man, is the navel, the evidence of our birth. Given Jochen's biological interest in heredity and development, this has some significance.

And here's where it becomes wildly speculative (instead of just speculative Laughing ) - the greek for navel is omphalos; 'OMPHALOS: An Attempt to Untie the Geological Knot' is the title of a book written by a creationist, who argued that the world was created as it is, that the fossil record, the rings at the centre of tree trunks, and Adam's navel were all created by God to give the world the appearance of continuity.



And for those of you wondering what is going on... Welcome, 'cause we have no idea of where this is going either!

 		The picture of the skyline is from somewhere it snows alot. See the house in the lower left??....Notice the pitch of the roof. I'm from the south and our roofs are not steep like that. I have relitives in Boston and asked them why their roof were so steep...Its so the snow doesn't build up and crash in the roof. also that doesn't look like the Boston skyline to me and thats the only city I have been to in the north. Also there is a blue cup with a logo on it in the bar pic I can't quite make out the logo.... looks like C something then C something.... the place also sells smoothies...because in the video its on the window
