If not fission, than perhaps cold fusion?

Granier Diary and Labratory Combining with the live feed I think the evidence unearthed at the Lighthouse will need to be combined with the Granier Diary for us to follow it.
The wiki link for the Diary is here Diary excerpts are in blue.
From Mima's summary - a basic timeline:
February 1732 [also 5 BC (Before Catastrophe)] - Lab at lighthouse opened - Vianne Adamek present
March 4 1732 - Specimen arrives at lighthouse from Viendebourg (the box for this is found in a very high-tech, pressurized lab)
March 12th 1732 - "max coherence 0.2s achieved" from a photo of people standing by the specimen case - but taken from an observation window outside of the lab.
April 1733- Dr Kennard completes a site survey and inspection which is hung on the wall - like a health and safety certification.
June 2nd 1732 - "max coherence to 1.3s, but power spikes. Change silicon doping"
late 1732- Mountling requests more programmers from Academy; they are working with extending the coherence of the material by doping it with other compounds - they reach almost 10 seconds
end of 1732 -"From the Academy Computer Science Division, looking forward to a fruitful collaboration with Lancewood on the Material Research and Control Project." A note found in the physics lab
October 1733- Anti-aircraft battery installed at lighthouse
June 1735- Lab power concerns solved
March 13, 1736 -Granier and Mountling leave on journey to castle near Viendenbourg
March 19, 1736 - Granier visits the mine and mentions they have extracted enough material for "his Masters (Vianne Adamek) purposes
April 1736 - Ceasefire with Viehattle breaking along the border, "troubles"
April 6, 1736 The peace with Viehattle is disintegrating they may align with Anjsbourg
April 8, 1736 - "Experiment conducted, awful spectacle"
April 3, 1736 -EM concludes from readings taken during the experiment that the "entire place will be destroyed"
April 29, 1736 - Mountling confesses that "Your master I believe does not wish that our experiments here should benefit only the city. To be blunt, my lord, I have been sent here to ensure that certain matters, certain elements of knowledge should be kept only for her, and for the group of loyal scholars she has formed. She wishes the power for herself. To do what, I know not."
September 1736- First mass material shipped from Viendenbourg
December 1736 - Viehattle (another location in the world of PPC) ends the cease-fire and declares war on PPC
December 1736 - deaths of Dr. Kennard and Dr. Cook - "they flew higher and saw further."
December 1736 - Granier appointed liason/administration for Lancewood Labs reporting directly to Adamek. mentions 'General Purpose Self-Contained Material System (Cubic)'
January 1737 [this would be year 1 AC I think]- Granier arrives at Lancewood Labs.

This may not be terribly important, but at the end of the diary Granier is horrified and has to think, but fears his diary is no longer a safe place to do so. Eight months later, he is the official Academy liaison to Lancewood. Obviously whatever horror he felt, he continued to be close to Adamek. So, was he trying to subvert her in Lancewood or genuinely working for her? Is he guilty because he followed Adamek or because he betrayed her in the end? Also, the deaths of the two scientists happened the same month; were they accidental or political?

I was just rereading the transcript, as it is Monday here, and was trying to see what time we should expect the next feed. Violet said she'd let Kurt know on the feed or her blog, and since I didn't see any new updates on her blog I checked the feed again to find this.
Quote:
[00:31] Violet: Hi Kurt, just a quick note before I head to bed. Scarlett and I will be back at Hobbs Island around 4pm on Monday. Will explaing tomorrow. Bye!
I don't know when she posted that, I haven't seen any explaining anywhere.
Looks like it might be a nicer time for you in the Northern Hemisphere at least.
After the riveting experience of the last one, I'm not staying up till 3am though.
And of course I know that means that's when the exciting stuff will happen, as they've had all weekend to work in interactivity somehow.

That's because it was just posted yesterday night (about two to three hours before you spotted it, if the timestamp's correct - they're GMT+1, like the UK). I still have a script monitoring the feed (at a much reduced update rate), though it was offline and I was asleep at the time, so I know it wasn't added earlier.
ETA : Some trial-and-error shows that this is the archive page that it shows up on.

Anyone else noticed the corridor (I think it's new) coming off the unloading bay on level 1?
Kurt said that he was getting some strange readings from there at the weekend...

Wonder if we should keep an eye on it?

I just wondered but when people are looking at the logs does it forward you to http://events.perplexcity.com/gateway/scarlettkiteway/labs/blogmessages.php after a while because every so often I'll look back on it and it won't be what I was reading any more.

There's an HTML meta tag in the header that asks your browser to reload the blogmessages.php page every 90 seconds; it still points to blogmessages.php even on the archived pages.

Ok, I guessed it must be something like that, rather annoying when reading the archives.
