Chief Prufrock held a brief press conference at the Aglaura Municipal Building today to announce that progress has been made in the case of Diana Sprague's death and the disappearence of her daughter, Meaghan Sprague. Prufrock said the police department has a very "promising lead" as a result of several calls to the public tipline and corroborating physical evidence found at the scene. The police chief said she hopes there will be a major break in the case very soon, but would not comment further on the evidence or calls made to the tipline.
