[CLUE?] Vortex
I don't know if it's been mentioned, or even if it's relevant.
I've tried to trawl the threads.
Not too good at it.
But Cascade Vortex is not an official Underscoe Site.
Underscore tells you how to recognise legitimate affiliates.
Cascade's affiliate badge is in the wrong place.
Sorry, I will leave now.

good point, but it is indeed ingame (hosted on same machine as other sites) but I wonder if it was an oversight, or purposeful. Anyone around at the very begining care to elaborate on how the ush logos were before the policy update?
[Edit: on the other pages (not the main one) they are indeed linked to the affiliates/.../ stuff]
False alarm probably, most of been an oversight..

Okay, sorry. Has anyone looked into the Mystery Spot that it links to? I only ask as it has a complicated booking system, yet no-one seems to have booked. If no one has checked, I could look into this for people?

There is a real Oregon Vortex, which is a real place, but no Cascade Vortex. The ficional Cascade Vortex was probably based on the Oregion Vortex though.

No problem... in order to solve mysteries you need to leave no stone unturned, as they say, so don't be afraid to keep looking

Mystery Spot I've actually been to a Mystery Spot in Upper Peninsula in Michigan, it was the stupidest thing ever. All the mystery spot is, is a log cabin built on the side of a hill at such an angle that by illusion it appears to be gravity defying. This Mystery Spot has branched out accross the US in attempt to use its ruse on all the gullable travelers and tourists of this nations country side. Mystery Spot=Gay. Just thought I'd share.

I go past that mystery spot in the UP (Upper Peninsula of Michigan) 2x a month. I agree, kind of cheesy. It's a tourist trap. There's putt putt golf, a maze, and a gift shop. My son always begs me to stop there, desperately wants to see what the big mystery is. We never seem to be driving through when it is open (Darn! ). I'm not sure if Mystery Spots are a chain franchise or not, the few I have seen don't look like they are related. I know there's one out in California that's supposed to make your car roll uphill or something.

I've been to the one that's linked to Cacade Vortex. It's near Santa Cruz. It's silly but fun, especially if you are in college and under the influence of substances. Car does not roll up hill, just things like a room that's off kilter and makes you dizzy.

I used to live in Salt Lake City, where there is a hill that your car will actually accelerate while ascending. I've driven on the hill many many times, to the point where i stopped paying attention. But it works. =) I forget why it does it, but it has something to do with physics. blah.

I thought the special USH logo was just for the affiliate program. Maybe Cascade Vortex is hosted by USH but is not an affiliate?
