 		 Puppetmaster
This term is used for anyone working behind the scenes (or curtain) of an ARG. The Puppetmaster(s) is/are responsible for the inner workings of the ARG (i.e. character interaction, page updates, etc.) and the writing of the story

 		The term "puppetmaster" was coined because of the striking similarity of the people running the ARG to the people who pull the strings on puppets. You don't see the people making the puppets move, but you do see the events they control on stage. There may be one reality on stage, but if you step outside that reality, you'll know there are people behind the scenes.
