Hehe, you're right, they're wrong.

You could go my route and just guess movies that you like that are tangentially related to the image, or the lack thereof, whichever the case may be.

Good plan

[EDIT] Anyone need another screenshot? Or a hint?

so to get it out of my mind: I'm guessing two films that can't possibly be correct but they make me feel better to think about...like puppies, big fluffy puppies...

Puppies! The biggest puppy I've ever seen! Laughing

(Sorry for the OT, but I couldn't resist...)

CK, at first I thought you meant rose was right, but then I realized you meant nott, then I got distracted by the puppies, then.

My first thought was eXistenZ.

WINNAH! WINNAH! WINNAH!

Yeah, eXistenZ is correct. This is the "special" in the chinese restaraunt that included the ingrediants for a "bone gun"

And I was hoping Hy would get this off the bat, being, you know, named after the movie and everything... Ah well... I tried.

missphinx, You're up.

I'd recognize that brow anywhere

It's Dark Passage. I've never seen it, but you can recognize Bogart, even under the bandages ... what a distinctive face.

EDIT: Yeah, that image is in the IMDB photo gallery for the film. Guess I'll go on:

I too shall borrow a still from somewhere on the IntarWeb. The fact that I only have 6 DVDs at hand limits my options a lot otherwise.

omg, i feel like such an eeediot. it seemed oddly familiar but looking at for long periods of time made me want to puke. The only thing i can do is blame my lack of brain power on hugely inflamed tonsils and seeing Mr. Scruff when i was obviously ill.

EDIT: OOO! OOO! i know this one!! is it Shallow Grave?!?

what am i asking for? i know it is. yeah! my turn finally!

Hmmmm, could that be Conspiracy Theory? I don't quite remember the shot, but it does look a little like Mel Gibson being chased by Patrick Stewart... you know, if you squint your eyes... and erh... turn your head a little Confused

To me, it looks more like Ewan McGregor, so I would have to guess The Island, although I don't remember him wearing that color sweater during it.

The still is from a lesser known 80's movie. the bald guy is not Patrick Stewart, but he was a bald guy on a very successful sci-fi-ish show in the 90's- 2000's

hyexistenz, a good play, stumping people for over a day. Sadly your clue sparks nothing here. Sad

Hmm, well I think I now know who the bald guy is, although it's not helping me with any movies. If I had to guess, I'd say Red Scorpion, but I really don't think I'm right.

well, this confirms it, i was one of four people to see this movie. Shame...it's such a good movie.

Anyway, the movie is about a scrawny high school kid who bumps into the school bully. School bully threatens to beat up said H.S. kid after school. The kid does everything to get detention, as to avoid the big fight, including making out with his english teacher.
