Not sure if this is related, but a search for "bettylovesbarney" (from the comments on the sammeeeees blog yielded two results. Both were comments made on [url=http://www.whfn.com/board/archive/index.php/t-174.html]this messageboard.

I don't think this person is in game. In every instance we have found a related link, sammeeeees is mentioned in some way. These are from 2005 on a board that doesn't seem to be in game and one can't change posting dates.

I'm still frustrated that this path (bettylovesbarney) has led to a dead end. Something posted that isn't there anymore? Not nice.

"bettylovesbarney."

It's probably a plate of shrimp from left field, but I find it interesting that this month's Skeptic magazine has a section on Betty and Barney Hill, presumably the first alien abductees (at least, once they got their stories straight.)

I'm still trying to figure out if that Flickr account's images are in-game or out-of-game. They almost look as if they were from some pre-game or play-test or tangential something-or-other.

Edit: ...and strangely, one of the pictures has gone missing from when I ran across the profile this afternoon... (see attached)

happyhappyroger's flickr

Seems in game to me, if only because of this in the Melon Mission:

Quote:
I have just asked the question "are you a sammeeeee" and he said he had retired from Spoocheeeee and was now a "white rose". I don't know what that means. I was just happy to find him!!!! I want to talk to the others about "white rose" but I have been told that I must not. Maybe Peeps could become a farmer after we get him out of Spoocheeeee. The Melon Man seemed really nice.

Space's boxes all had white rose petals in them.

The Village Voice ads are for Tin Hats with Betty's phone number. The matches up with the comment on sammeeeees.blogspot from bettylovesbarney
Quote:

And HHR started wearing a tin hat.

Edit to add: Oh, got a response from Betty.

So I would like to help you out (if you let me know what you are
worried about). If Johnson is dangerous, I should warn my friend who
got those boxes wrapped in foil.
My cell is (702) xxx-xxxx.

Edit to add: Regarding the photo pulled from HHR's flickr.
Buck Jones, a movie cowboy.

Quote:
Buck Jones was the 481st person of, eventually, 492 who died in the 12-15 minute Cocoanut Grove nightclub fire in Boston, MA, Saturday, Nov. 28, 1942.

Buck died Monday Nov. 30 of critical second and third degree burns to the face, mouth and throat and smoke inhalation. He would have been 51 December 12. In the ensuing years many reports and stories have been perpetuated concerning Buck's heroism, leading trapped victims to safety and returning to the raging inferno to help others. Did it happen? Let's look objectively at the facts and then decide.

Well I saw the stuff on http://bettylovesbarney.blogspot.com/ earlier and yep now it's blank. However, this was in the source:

It's misspelled, so leads nowhere.

New photo on Flikr for the original Sammeeee search
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Titled 'Not on a Mission'. Directly references unfiction. Almost definitely has some text in the background that's smudged.
Dunno about SirQuady.

Make sure you use all 5 'e's in sammeeeees. I've spent much time on google links with fewer e's, but believe they all lead to OOG material.

SirQuady was in chat late last night, so I assume he's a player, not in-game. dunno what this is about, though.

He was in IRC, on #unfiction, earlier when people started discussing this stuff. He's not totally new (the first I see him in my logs is 2006-02-24), and even has an Unfiction login. Either he's a player or a not-so-subtle PM.

Blue and yellow flag = X = 10

Actually, the blue and yellow flag is a Nautical flag representing the number 5 (Navy). 5 seems to be a recurring number...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
5 packages in the mail
5 e's in sammeeeee
5 in the nautical flag
5 tic-tac-toe pics (which is also the symbol for number, as in 5 number)
5 Fingers in a hand (from "give yourself a hand")

So if I were to venture a guess to the very first question, I'd say that

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
it takes 5 sameeeees to change the world, which is exactly what I just emailed Mr. A.J.

not discounting the number 5

but it should only take 1 sammeeeee to change the world

I'm trying to avoid playing anything, but I looked at a few links through the trail and like the child who won the award and the man who saved people from the fire... each one changed the world... just my opinion though. Not going to get into any of the games much

Either case is junky... with the use of flikr as a storage spot, its really easy to get hijacked images that send you on wild goosechases.

http://bettylovesbarney.blogspot.com/ seems to be back the way it was before, with the posts on "where am i?" and "who, where why?"

EDIT: 'where am i?' was posted at 5:55pm on October 05, 2006 (i.e., the future..da dum!) and 'who, where, why?' was posted at 10:10am on October 05, 2006.

Perhaps an email was sent to SirQuady to get him to post that... being he is a member of unfiction he would know that we would get to that image and work on it...

then again - why remain quiet about it? I dunno... strange
