How much TV discussion should occur in #lostexp now?

Assuming that TLE will continue with a new game during the winter hiatus,
and that #lostexp will become active again, how should we use the channel until then?

We want to keep the channel active enough to not lose it, but there may not be much left to discuss which is directly tied to TLE. It is *possible* that things may show up in Season 3 of the TV show which relate to information we have learned over the summer, and people may want to feel free to discuss it. However, the UK and Aussie markets will not have easy access to the Season 3 episodes as they air in the States. (Yes, there are ways, but not everyone has the ability to download, nor the desire to skip ahead of their own broadcast schedule.) (And yes, there are other channels such as #ctu and #bigspaceship1 for LOST spoilers, but they haven't been playing TLE with us.)

So, feel free to debate the pros and cons in this thread, whether or not you choose to vote. I hope I have itemized enough options.

p.s., Remember that the Unforums are still not the place for discussions of the TV show as it stands alone. There are other forums for that. And if/when another Lost Experience game fires up, the mandate for the IRC channel will focus on the game and not the show.

I'm not going to vote, but here's my point of view.

I think that the main focus of the channel should be discussing elements that connect TLE to Lost, but I think that we should be able to discuss the show, at least partly, in the channel as well. No future spoilers, but after the episode airs on the West Coast, we can talk about it.
