i don't know whether to be pleased or disappointed.

I've just done the same (although I had to sketch it [badly] on paper). The answer came fairly quickly after I realised it couldn't possibly be an "real" object.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Of course, having read "Godel, Escher and Bach" by Douglas Hofstadter years back probably helped (he did something similar, making a wooden cube showing the letters E, G and B).

I loved this card; as someone earlier said, much perfeable than just arming yourself with Google.

Explore the answer!

If you want to see what this looks like in 3D, and you have Unreal Tournament 2003 (or probably 2004), then here's an extremely lame UT level which allows you to walk around the constuct.

Hi,
Here's a small program that shows the assembled item. Requires windows and OpenGL. I've only tested it with WinXP SP2. Press right mouse button and move mouse to rotate. Lighting is a bit off.

download

Ok, I'm having what one of my mates describes as a blonde moment here... I don't seem to be able to view any of the photos - there don't seem to be any active links to click on. Nor can I download any of the attachments - I get a 'Not found' message. Any ideas, anyone?
Thanks, Simon

I think your problem is explained here. Nothing to do with any inability on your part...

Unless everybody re-uploads their attachments (unlikely), some files are lost for now. If you have a special request for something in particular, I'm sure some of the good folks around here will be able to put it back up for you or at least answer your questions.
