There is an audition in Las Vegas? Where & When?
And funny how Survivor, Amazing Race & Big Brother do not require the applicants to pay for any background check.
Initial costs born by the applicants would be travel to regional auditions, tapes & postage. If you make the final auditions for these shows the production company/network pays for the trip to LA where they will conduct background checks, psych evals and multiple interviews (a friend was a semifinalist for Family Amazing Race).

nice as that is, it wouldn't be the first faked company.

So basically your saying:
You pay $135 to have the chance to be on the show
If you get through, you still don't know the show will be picked up
If the show actually happens, you still need to be the one person who wins it to get the $10M
This is all assuming the show isn't a scam ...So it's a $135 gamble. Personally I wouldn't gamble that, but whatever floats your boat.

Good Lord, there is no need to shout! Please turn off your CAPS lock key.
The producers of this show and the character LeeLeak have been requested NOT to post here. We were working their puzzle trail, and it is the policy of this forum that the "puppetmasters" of a game should not interfere or assist in the players space. They have their own website for answering questions, and as such do not need to use our forum for that. Also, you are free to email them -- people have received replies to their questions via direct email.

at the MGM Grand on September 3-5, 2006

"Open Call Candidates can submit an application on Tuesday September 5, 2006 from 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM in Room 301 on a first come-first serve basis." This implies that the other days are by appointment only?

Looks like that is the time Sabotage has reserved for their "auditions" during this 'Talent Rock' conference. 301? I've been to the MGM Grand - where the heck is room 301? Must be some sort of hospitality room associated with this "conference".
Again - PASS. Just too many questions.

if it smells like fish... 1. seems very fishy to me. I remember reading in the earlir posts that the (so called) producer of the reality show was posting comments. I wonder why did he stop. Have not seen any real updates except the ZOO thing & the auditions in Vegas.
2. Lets say that the show is real. I hope that all who is trying get a fair chance. Kinda weird that he (leak) has a myspace account. Too bad when you call the 800 # all you get is the same response. Sounds like a Trekkee that has grown up & has some extra $$ to spend all the while playing with his new computer with different identities....Good Luck to all & who knows, I might see yall there.

Sabotage Not A Scam! Hey everyone,
So this new site called "Zoobody.com" is actually a place for the entertainment industry from what I gather. They are kind of like a reverse monster.com for just entertainment industry people. I guess you post your resume and profile and casting people find your profile based on credentials they need.
This is what I gathered by doing some research.
As for the Sabotage show, they are doing semi-finalists direct from the site! I signed up and filled out the app. i don't know where you guys found the $120 or $135 thing. The site looks entirely FREE. It never once asked me to pay.
Just my 2 cents from what I gathered.
They have a pretty decent write up and press releases so it seems legit to me

Extended entry deadline (again) http://www.realsabotage.com/thegame/news.php updated today.
Quote:
Online Auditions with Digital Application must be complete and submitted by Friday, December 8, 2006 deadline.
This cannot be a good sign, as they were supposedly into the Semi-Finalists round by now. Their previous news releases said:
Quote:
We are currently selecting Semi-Finalists for interviews which will be held in October 2006. ... Shooting will begin this winter and a 2007 airdate is planned.
I wish them luck.

I read that they were doing so well with the online audition process that they wanted to extend the opportunity to everyone.
They sent me a message saying i was in the semi finals and that they started filming sometime 2007.
Supposedly Semi finalists will be released on the web in December
Hope this helps!
I met them. They are really really cool people

it's nice that zoobody.com is hosting this promotional video for them, but odd that the game's own recruitment site hasn't been updated since Oct.3rd.
Thanks for the news, kona. My apologies to anyone who still visits the IRC channel we had set up. I forgot that I had to visit the channel under the nick I used to register it -- i was joining the channel regularly from work, but rarely from home. The channel became unregistered for lack of attention. I haven't seen anyone drop in for so long, that I don't think I should bother re-registering it now.
