His IP was blocked, I think. He got a message when going to the webpages that he didn't have permission to access them. It probably went away after a while (72 hours, like they said?), but I don't remember if he came back or just gave up after that.

 		Another thought. Can't directories be case sensitive (if they don't have a case correction plug in)? Perhaps the S to L (small to large) and "getting bigger" references refer to capitalization of the directory name?

 		I just had a horrible thought... and it's come from being burnt by this ARG in the past a few times... but what if the October1 Paintover is just a picture, nothing more to it?

Like Caesars' way of saying "I see you" to all his hacker buddies, and telling them that they all have lessons to learn...

I was thinking that before, and mentioned that in another thread. I'm thinking that if the picture was that important and we were "stuck" because of it, the PMs would have called our attention to it or given further hints.

Obviously it could be that we're all missing it, but if that's the case, it can't be a very good puzzle if we've all been thinking about it for over a month and we still haven't come up with anything good.

If that is the case, then we should all the just stop playing, find out who the pm's are and make sure they don't make another game.

If they are out there, reading this, then maybe they can answer the call waiting, it's a clue. Or just tell us that there there is nothing there.

At first glance, I really didn't think of the 'ghost' in pic as a skeleton. More or less, I saw three faces.

Who the heck knows. Ghost, Skeleton all I know is that the picture is dead. There is nothing to be read from it. Just a pretty picture that says: I see things. you'll see pictures here.

Rolling Eyes Yes I know, it's done and you're all sick of it...

But the quote, in context, is Alice bemoaning the fact she will never experience the rest of her life if she never grows up. Whatever the thing is behind the girl definitley doesn't look alive - i.e. a casualty. So it could be pointing to http://www.lifeandcasualty.com. (I think I read that somewhere, but I don't know where, so I don't know who to credit). Elements of the picture left 'un-related' are the little girl, the colour box and it's contents, and the title "Eye See".

On second thoughts, wheres that spork? It's another picture I've stared at until I can redraw it from memory.
