I could be wrong, but I don't think this is ingame; I think this is just how the site owners upload their stuff. In any case, unless things have changed at 1and1 (the host they're using) the ftp login you're given automatically is something like u99999999 (where the 9's are an eight-digit random number). And you can't change that except to make it longer, e.g. u99999999yshklanti. This makes it annoying to work with if you have several sites, but it's pretty much secure.

I'm not saying it's impossible, and things may have changed since I last used 1and1, but I think our energies may be better spent elsewhere.

By the way, maybe you should check the sum of your nickname, because 286 is a really common number which is 13*2 =26 multipled by 11..or 1-1 which is 1 and 1..a good math boy this player Smile

 		Anybody has a transcription of the ysklanti mp3 file? Since everybody's breaking the code ... it could prove useful to bring everything that's braekable.

I don't know if this is a "trout" situation, but it's all over the last several pages of this thread. It starts "ra nednai ny takma." jsquared transcribed it and YshkLanti confirmed correct spelling by email and the flash file currently at the top of the page contains this text in a series of different fonts.

I don't know of anything that's been broken. All we've been successful at doing so far is changing fonts on the text we find until it looks like English or whatever invented or really obscure language we're dealing with.

 		Whoa. I like that one better, and I'm glad to see the countdown back. You know, earlier Caterpillar had post here pointing out that the screenshot of this forum (that used to appear on the /itiscoming.html popout) was unusual and possibly violated TOS. That post has disappeared, and now so has the reference back to the forum. Hmmm.

That countdown looks like it goes to tomorrow midnight (PST) to me. I wonder what else they think we might see?

There also appears to be a new word in yysaia.html (the one with the eye) in the source code:

That wasn't my entire email, but that was the entire response...

I'm guessing the saying he's referring to is "When you assume, you make an "ass" out of "u" and "me"....

So I guess Gai doesn't mean Earth....

Also, he knows my name due to my Yahoo settings....my name shows up on all outgoing emails...

 		This may be nothing, but I just checked oct13.jpg for steg using stegdetect, and under high sensitivity, it thinks it found something inserted with the jphide algorithm. I think stegdetect has a reputation for false positives, and I did have to put the sensitivity up to 4 (out of 10) for it to find something, but by contrast, the original oct13.jpg comes up completely negative.

I tried unCamouflaging the contents, but couldn't find a key that worked. I tried all of the words I could think of, but someone else might have better luck.

Again, this may well be a false positive, and my gut says it is, but I wanted to throw it out there in case someone else wanted to take a crack at it.

 		the timer still has the message "we are not easily fooled" at the end of it in hex.....

PST means I've got to be up at 3 in the morning....grrr...I might just have to check it later that morning..

Ha! So I guess he's saying he's not from America. I also emailed asking about "takma", but no response. So I guess he could just be saying that Gai = Earth is wrong or that Takma = End is wrong, or both.

Coincidence only, I assure you.

I had posted in reference to 3 different issues (the above being one) and I deleted the post simply because it would take a lot to convince people or explain the whys and wherefores of my arguments if there was unfamiliarity with ARG protocol/convention/history, and I just wasn't sure I wanted to make that effort. Very Happy It's been a long day.
