Evidence: The Last Ritual
ARG or Computer Game? You decide.

PC World has an article about a computer game/ARG called Evidence: The Last Ritual. I'm not entirely sure it's what we usually think of as an ARG -- it sounds more like a computer game with ARGish elements (or at least the real-time component that most ARGs seem to have doesn't look like it's there) -- but it does sound like a fun investigative mystery.

Previous UF thread on it

dontpanic42: the blink puzzle was one of the ones that they, apparently, showcased at E3 and so it was talked about quite a bit back in May.

A bit more... It's not just by the creators of Missing: Since January but is a follow up to the game. Though, you don't have to have much knowledge of the first to get into the second. I've also heard and read that it's a bit creepier than the first game, which I know some around here played with mixed reviews. Missing wasn't a bad game but it suffered from some inevitable internet problems - googling for information revealed more spoilers than clues & info. Hopefully they've dealt with that a bit better in this version because it was one of the bigger complaints that I heard about the game (esp from those that got into it later, virtually anyone in North America) and if rumor is correct with there being more going on online than last time it could kill the game for people who get into it late.

A couple of trailers for it appeared a couple months ago: the first trailer back in May and the second trailer in July.

Quandaryland has a decent preview.
